Dani x Nico | The Start Of a Romance |

Chapter 1

It was morning, the sun was slowly starting to rise.

Dani and Nico had to sleep together, since the inn only had one room left with one bed. Of course nothing happened. Dani however was nervous, she knows Nico would never do anything to step over her boundaries but she couldn't help but feel a little anxious last night.

"Hey, Dani! You're awake." Nico basically shouted in her ear.

"Nico! Don't shout in my ear." Dani got out of bed.

"Oh, don't be like that, we have to go if we wanna reach our next destination in time, come on!" Nico says with a wide smile on his face.

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming, just let me get ready I'll be done in 10 minutes." She pushed Nico out of the room to wait outside.

Dani started brushing her hair and put it in a high ponytail, she put on a dress Monica had given to her as a gift. It's not something she would normally wear but she missed Monica, Dorian and the others so she wanted to have something from back home with her. Luckily Nico is here with her so it's really not that bad. He may not look like it but he can be very helpful at times.

"Dani hurry up, it's already been 10 minutes we're gonna be late" He says barging into the room

Dani turned around and threw a shoe at Nico his face.

"Ouch! What was that for?!" Nico looked annoyed.

"What if I had been in my underwear? You shouldn't come into someones room like this! If you do it again I won't only throw a shoe." She had a teasing smile on her face.

"Pfft, it's not like I haven't done it before already." Nico his cheeks turned red realizing what he just said.

"Huh..?" Dani says in a confusing tone until she suddenly realizes what he meant.

"You mean that actually happened?!" Dani turned completely red.

Nico walked in on her while she was taking a bath once back when she was still the queen of witches, she couldn't really tell if it actually happened or not since her memories are vague from that time.

"Wait, wait! I didn't see anything I swear." Nico says in a panicked tone.

"I thought you would've learned your lesson, you always do things without thinking about it, don't you?" She let out a sigh.

"Hey! That's kinda offensive you know." He smirked.

"Anyway, we should go, like you said we're gonna be late, by the time we arrive at our next destination it might already be dark so let's just go." She grabbed Nico his hand and led him out of the room, Nico blushed.
