Chapter 3

It was the next day, it was a cloudy rainy morning in the forest.

Dani was resting her head on the tree behind her with Nico laying on her lap. Nico started waking up and stared at Dani.

"She's even cuter when she's sleeping." He mumbled.

"What did you say?" Dani says still half asleep.

"Huh?! Nothing! Nothing at all." Nico said in shock as he quickly stood up.

"Alright? Have you been awake long?" Dani stood up too.

"No, just for a few minutes.." He started grabbing his stuff.

"Someone's in a hurry." Dani says in a confusing tone.

"Yeah, well I just wanna find a better place to stay." He said hiding his face from Dani, he was all red from embarrassment.

Nico wasn't actually in a hurry, he just didn't know how to deal with the situation. Dani was confused and too sleepy to think about Nico, she didn't even hear what he said.

"Let's go then, I'm sure we'll find somewhere better to stay." Dani says with a determined smile.

After a few hours of flying on a broom they finally found a town.

"Nico, Nico! Look a town!" Dani says with an excited smile on her face.

"Dani.. I think I'm broom sick." Nico looked like he was about to puke a rainbow.

"Broom sick?! That's a thing?" She looked surprised.

"If it wasn't before.. it definitely is now." He turned green.

"Hey Nico, you kinda look like Carlo now!" She chuckled.

"That's not funny!" Nico said having an annoyed look on his face.

"Oh poor little Nico.. let's just fly down and you can rest."

"I'm not little! I'm 175 cm." He said to proof a point.

"Yeah and I'm 177 cm." She said in a teasing tone.

"Exactly, you're a giraffe." He smirked.

"What?! You're just stupid." She looked irritated.

Dani and Nico flew down outside of the town, they don't know how people think about witches here so they didn't wanna risk anything by flying into the town.

"Teehee, I'm sure Monica will love it if I buy a souvenir for her." She had a wide smile on her face while walking through the town.

Nico still didn't look too good.

"Of coure we'll get you some medicine too." Dani said patting Nico his head.

"We're not here to buy souvenirs Dani, but I do want that medicine."

"If you want the medicine you'll have to go shopping for souvenirs with me after. I may not be the biggest fan of shopping for clothes but souvenirs are a completely different case!" Dani started humming.

"A dragon frog! Run for your lives!" A stranger screamed running past Nico and Dani.

"A dragon frog? That sounds familiar.." Nico and Dani turned around.

"It's a.. huge pink Carlo!" Nico and Dani said in union.
