Bangalore

Nobody really realizes that you're starting to falter in your footsteps, or so you thought. You slouch on a couch, squeezing your eyes shut, trying to forget about the heat that rises in your face because of a fever.

A few legends were gathered, having a good time, poking fun at each other and lounging around. Trying to smile and pretend that you're okay, you laugh along, but your eyes become droopy and a pounding headache kicks in. Still, trying to stay with the group, you manage to keep your eyes open. Their voices sound slightly distorted.

Nope.

You're not okay.

"...You guys are a bunch of idiots."

Anita says, bringing sudden silence. She sighs, looking at everyone as if she's waiting for someone to back her up.

"Do you not see- Forget it, I'm going to go."

You suddenly feel your body being lifted. Who is this? You're too ill and delusional to recognize them. But they lift you with ease in one swift, smooth motion. It doesn't feel wrong or uncomfortable.

Warm and comfortable.

"C'mon, soldier. Let's get you home. You're clearly not okay. Close your eyes."

So you do, and immediately fall into a sleep of relief in her arms.

When you wake up, you're in your bed, a thermos of hot tea by your nightstand. You don't really remember who brought you here.

You look off to the corner of the bedroom and jump slightly when you see a figure, sitting upright on a stool, head bobbing up and down, falling into sleep and falling back out.

"...Anita?"

You ask.

"Huh? Oh, took you a while. You feel okay?"

You nod.

"Well then. I'll let you be. I just wanted to wait until you woke up."

and she just leaves, with no further words.

Bloodhound

What are your symptoms?

You open a text, out of the blue, from Bloodhound.

How do you know I'm sick?

You text back.

Something felt off in the air today. Sure enough, one of the others just said you went home early.

Jeez, does the allfather tell them this kind of stuff too? That's almost scary.

Oh, uh, that's crazy. I'm coughing, sore throat, tired, headache, and I just feel like shit.

You text back.

And no reply.

"What the hell?"

You mutter under your breath, feeling annoyed at the questioning to get no answer back.

Half an hour or so passes. You look in the tea cabinet to find something hot to steep, but you're all out. You really, really didn't want to leave the house today. At all. You were boiling plain water, planning to drink it as is, when you hear a single, piercing knock.
