Dracaena:
you are walking into a trap
·• •·

The night was empty, even the stars igniting the sky couldn't chase away the feeling of hollowness. It was as if the atmosphere was a bowl, not containing anything but thin air, without a purpose unless someone filled it.

Ace was as usual sitting alone in the sitting area on the podium slightly above the dance floor. As usual she was bored, not taking interest in anything other than the alcohol. Not even the few beautiful creatures on the floor swinging their hips to the beat and grinding on random individuals they'd just met but loved more than they did themselves.

Her dark eyes were hooded in dark eyelids as they scanned through the crowded place. The club was prestigious and new, the talk on every new published gossip site and a place to flash your status. It drew naive rich customers like moths to a flame and as they entered the door and got themselves a few drinks they acted like any other human being on a Saturday night out. Their facade faded, their smug smirk turned into slurry expressions and they all acted like they had no dignity at all. It was fascinating at first, now it was just pathetic. Ace hated every person entering the club before they even had the chance to introduce themselves, but she knew deep down that it wasn't because of their dignity.

She was about to light another smoke when a familiar silhouette slipped through the doors. He walked with a guy taller than him, who looked like the perfect man-child with a golden nape to victimize and fool for money, dressed in flawless clothes in overrated brands. The only difference between the man-child and any other person in the club was that he didn't leave his dignity at the front door, he didn't have any to begin with.

The man child bent down to whisper something in Ethan's ear, who nodded and smiled weakly in return, before he walked past him and into the restricted area. Ethan was left standing on the floor, with his form slightly hunched he looked out of place. Like he didn't even realize that he was left alone until a minute later when he lazily looked around. With slow steps he went to the bar and seated himself in one of the stools.

Ace ran her gaze over his form and felt her lips tug into a smirk. A flame of hunger ignited in her chest and she stood up from her chair slowly. With confidence she swayed her hips through the crowd -that sensed her presence and immediately split to make a path for her. They all looked at her with looks of hunger, but Ace ignored them as usual and proceeded to walk forward until she reached the stage at the other side of the dance-floor. A dancer was currently doing a scene, circling the pole slowly, but with just one glance at Ace she smiled, nodded and quickly scurried away.

Ace walked up to the stage, her eyes resting on Ethan's slim back as she grabbed the pole.

The DJ changed soundtrack immediately as he spotted Ace on the scene, knowing that whatever she was about to do would earn him and everyone else a good amount of money, even if he himself had never seen her on the pole before, only heard rumors.

The beat was slow and sensual just like Ace movements as she swayed her hips to the rhythm. Almost all eyes went to her as she gracefully swung her body around the pole, showing off a flexibility only few could dream of. She didn't even have to cast her spell to draw all the attention on her, sparkling lust in the majority of the room, but her eyes were on Ethan and only him.

Ethan sensed the sudden change of mood in the room and quickly cast his gaze from side to side to see everyone else staring ahead. He turned on the stool, only to lose his gaze in the show like everyone else.

The gaze they shared were raw, intense and sensual and it lit a fire in Ethan's stomach as he felt heat claw at his cheeks until they were flushed in red. He felt his mouth open and close under the entire show, not being able to take his eyes off her. Completely enthralled by her.
