Surgery day: Chapter 22

*It's the morning of Fin's surgery, Nessa wakes up at 4 am feeling kinda tired and stressed but she finishes packing and quietly leaves the house and gets ready for the 2 hour drive to the hospital*

Nessa: hey Finny you gotta stay strong for mama I know you're a strong little boy and I love you so much *blows him a kiss* I know you'll get through this surgery like a champ

*They get to the hospital a couple minutes early so Nessa parks and gets in the back to hold Fin one more time before he goes in for his surgery*

Fin: *starts crying*
Nessa: I'm coming buddy *she climbs to the back and takes him out of the car seat* hey buddy your so strong your gonna do great

*Nessa holds him for a couple more minutes then puts him back in the car seat and takes him in, she checks in a they come out a couple seconds later*
Nurse: Finian Merrell
Nessa: *she gets up and takes him back*
Nurse: and you must be mom?
Nessa: yes
Nurse: ok so we are gonna have you change him into a gown and we will come put in an IV and we will send you out and get going with the procedure
Nessa: ok thank you *she changes Fin into the gown and a couple minutes later the doctor comes in and explains everything they are gonna do, puts in the IV and they send her out to the waiting room*

*It's about 6:30 am and Nessa is really tired but she decides to call Roni to update her because she's usually up at 6 ish to feed the babies*
*Nessa tried to call Roni but she didn't answer so she tried calling Christan and he didn't answer so she tried calling her dad and he answered*
Paul: hey Nessa is everything ok?
Nessa: yeah what are you doing?
Paul: I'm feeding Heaven and Haven
Nessa: oh where is Christian?
Paul: I'm not sure he wasn't home when I woke up to the babies crying and the monitor was on my night stand
Nessa: oh ok well when your done can you wake up Roni and tell her to call me? Please
Paul: sure is Fin in surgery?
Nessa: yeah he is I wanted to call Roni to update her
Paul: oh ok well I'll wake her up when the girls finish eating
Nessa: thanks Daddy
Paul: your welcome sweetie I love you
Nessa: I love you too
Paul: bye
Nessa: bye

*30 minutes later Nessa gets a call from Roni*
Roni: hey Nessa I'm sorry I left my phone in the kitchen earlier
Nessa: it's ok I just wanted to let you know that Fin's in surgery
Roni: oh ok we are all preying for him
Nessa: thanks also is Christian there?
Roni: no I heard him leave at like 6 this morning
Nessa: oh ok
Roni: why?
Nessa: daddy said Christan put the monitor on his night stand and couldn't find him anywhere in the house
Roni: yeah he left at like 6
Nessa: oh ok I'll try calling him again
Roni: did he not answer?
Nessa: no I called him right after you earlier and he didn't answer
Roni: huh that's odd
Nessa: yeah anyway I'll update you when he gets out of surgery
Roni: ok I'll keep my phone on me
Nessa: ok love you
Roni: love you too
Nessa: give all the girls kisses for me
Roni: ok bye
Nessa: bye

*Nessa tries calling Christan a couple more times and he doesn't answer so she gives up and puts her phone down*

*3 and a half hours later they come get Nessa and take her back to see Fin*
