After the surgery: Chapter 23

*They take Nessa back to see Fin*

Doctor: so the surgery went great he is doing really really good, he's almost all the way out of anesthesia
Nessa: yay
Doctor: so as you can see he's got a wrap around his chest, we will leave that there for probably a week or so and then take it off and take the stitches out, in the time being he will be staying in the hospital, once the stitches are out we will keep him here for another couple of days or so just go make sure he's doing good and then he should be good to go home
Nessa: 😁 thank you so much
Doctor: no problem we will move him into a room here shortly then we will show you how to hold him without hitting him
Nessa: ok thank you

*A bit later a nurse comes in to move him into a room and get him settled in*
Nessa: thank you so much I really appreciate everything y'all have done for us
Nurse: not a problem and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to let us know and we can check things out 😁
Nessa: thanks
Nurse: your welcome
*The nurse shows Nessa how to hold Fin safely so she doesn't hurt him and leaves the room*
Nessa: aww Finny you handled that like a champ buddy your so strong
*Fin starts to open his eyes and Nessa smiles so big*
*After a while of Nessa holding and looking at Fin she decides to FaceTime Roni*
Nessa: hello!!! 😁
Roni: hey how's Fin?
Nessa: *shows her Fin* he's doing so well they said he did great in surgery
Roni: that's wonderful
Nessa: yeah and he just starting to wake up from anesthesia
Roni: I can't wait to come see him
Nessa: you could come later!!!
Roni: yeah I'll see what we have scheduled and I'll try to come down later ok 😁
Nessa: ok!!!
Roni: see you later Nessa I love you
Nessa: I love you too
Roni: bye Nessa and bye Fin
Nessa: *shows Fin again* bye

*After Nessa finished face timing with Roni the nurse came back in to check on Fin*
Nurse: hey I see he has opened his eyes!!!
Nessa: 😁 yeah he has
Nurse: has his breathing been good?
Nessa: it seems good to me
Nurse: it looks good to me too

*About 30 minutes later Nessa calls Christan again but he doesn't answer she starts to get worried but then she hears a knock on the door*
Nessa: come in
*Roni comes around the corner*
Nessa: Roni!!!!
Roni: hey I brought the kids
Nessa: did you bring anyone else?
Roni: yeah Aaron is coming he went to get food you want anything I can text him
Nessa: nah I'm good
