chapter two!

Charlotte

"Peanut!" i heard the most familiar voice of all yell towards my direction. i whipped around and ran straight towards madison's arms.

"im so happy to see you!" i whispered into her ear as we squeezed each other a little too tight. madison was the first person i met when drew got the job. we immediately became friends, in fact madison is like my sister. even if i've only known her for two weeks.

i don't normally follow drew around when he gets a roll, but with the breakup and all i thought i could just come with him and get a fresh start. and then all i did was cry and watch spider man. news flash fresh starts are really harder than everyone makes them seem.

now you are probably wondering, charlie, how do you know the cast members if you've only sat in your bed and cried? well for one, i met madison, jd, and austin when we found out drew got the job. jonas called them all in and told them and then the 4 of them went out and got drinks, and drew took me with them. and i live in the same apartment complex as them so while i was crying in my bed they would come over and we would all have a dance party, and that's how i met madelyn and chase. and i already knew elaine from a distant friend.

i honestly do not have answer as to why i haven't met, rudy. i've heard them talk about him but i've never truly met him.

"so hows spider-man been?" madison laughed and i took a drink of my komucha. "you know not that bad, he's probably sick of seeing my face, but we're working on that!" we both started busting out laughing.

that's the thing about madison. she's not afraid to make fun of my state with me. she doesn't treat me like some charity case who needs help. i just want to be treated like i was when everything felt normal.

we arrived at her trailer and she was about the open the door before she turned and looked at me. "rudy and jd are in there, so i have no idea what you are about to enter into." i couldn't get myself to make an answer before she opened the door.

"rudy, i swear to god if you eat those i will slap you and that is not a joke!" i hears jd yell. i heard a very unfamiliar laugh and walked into the trailer.

there was a tall blonde boy with a gray long sleeve shirt on, which i don't know how he's even wearing i'm dying in my jeans, with a bag of welches fruit snacks in his hands standing in front of me. jd fighting for the bag of fruit snacks, and then madison all of a sudden was in the frame attempting to break it up.

"what is going on in here!?" madison yelled and then everyone froze. "oh no," one of them whispered. watching this play out in front me doesn't surprise me, but at the same time i don't know what to think.

"rudy is trying to eat my last bag of fruit snacks!" madison shook her head and looked over at rudy. he gave her a mild smirk and madison yanked the bag of welches out of his hands.

"oh for christ sakes here." she throws the bag of welches at  jd and looks over at them both. "we have company you potato heads!" they both look over at me. rudy has a weird look on his face and jd runs over to me and we do our hand shake. technically it's the pogue hand shake but we all practically do it.

"woah" is all rudy manages to get out of his mouth. "yea keep drooling a little bit more why don't ya," jd snarks and all i feel is embarrassment.

rudy immediately played it off and looked in the mirror, "does my head really look like a potato?"

"yes." i answered the question for him. he glared at me and i shrugged my shoulders.

"oh-uh-um what kind of kombucha is that?" madison asked attempting to change the subject. before i could even answer rudy popped his loud mouth in, "kombucha more like come-and-getcha a life!"

jd whistled and madison rolled her eyes as i had to process everything happening. "excuse me? maybe you should try to get a life? or maybe you should invest in a dictionary on how to properly talk to girl, rudy!"

"i-i" he stammered and i cut him off. my blood was boiling, memories came rushing back and i just cut him off. "stop, just stop. don't even try." i stormed out of the trailer without a thought crossing my mind. nothing in my hands, my purse is even still in there.

i go to the trailer right across from madisons, which of course is chase's. the door isn't locked, and he has the attention span of a sloth so he's kinda an easy person to rant too.

i storm in and he's under the counter, eating a box of extra toasty cheez-itz and it almost looked like he was meditating. "hey do you mind!?" he yelled and i shrugged.

"oh calm down, i've seen worse!" my adrenaline was still rushing and it came out a little bit harsher than i meant. "woah charlie what's your problem?" he scooted over and patted the ground signaling for me to sit. so i did, and i answered him. "boys."

"spill sister, spill!" he leaned the cheez-its box towards me and i grabbed a handful. before one of those cheez-itz made it into my mouth, jonas knocked on the door and elaine told him it was time to get filming.

"charlie, i got you, we'll have a ranting session later. now come on and have a little bit of fun! let loose, chill out, be a normal 20 year old! please just tell me you'll be okay" something about those words were so comforting i felt calmer already. "chase, i'm fine. now you go have a little bit of fun!" he smiled and nodded.

"hey chase?" he looked at me. "thanks for being another brother to me. it's helped, a lot! sometimes i need a fresh opinion besides drew and austins!" he smiled and hugged me, as i had climbed out form under the counter. "why don't you go to madison's trailer? she and the two boys don't have to film for like 20 minuets. okay i gotta go bye!" and like that he's gone.

what the hell am i going to do now.
