"Did you cheat on me Jayda?" She looked down at her feet. I lifted her chin asking her again.
"Jayda?"
"Yes." I moved my hand from her chin, slightly backing away. She held her face in her hands while I just stared at her. I don't know why I feel like how I feel because I already knew the answer. For some reason I just suddenly felt empty.
"With who?" I questioned and she shook her head as tears weld into her eyes.
"It cant get no worse bruh just say that shit."
She just stood there shaking her head.
"Look man, I'm trying so hard to hear you out but you standing there like a dumb ass. Answer my question." I sternly told her as I leaned on the wall behind me.
"Herb." She said as tears fell from her eyes. I dropped my head shaking it trying my hardest not to hurt this girl.
"That's fucked up. That's some fucked up shit. Really Jayda."
"I didn't mean to Luka, I really didn't." She said quietly. I sighed as my body filled with anger.
"So you mean to tell me the nigga that used to put his hands on Lo. The one that I dragged through the fucking dirt multiple times. The one who we used to say we hated. The same got damn nigga that your best friend used to cry about to you." I said with each sentence getting closer to her until her chest hit my stomach.
"Jayda he got Lolani-" I cut myself off looking at her in disgust. I didn't even feel like explaining anymore.
"I'm sorry Luka."
"Save that shit." My voice boomed out and she jumped.
"I can't believe this shit man. Herb. Really?" I chuckled out.
"Gimme my keys." I said and she cried harder. She grabbed her purse getting the spare key I gave her and handing it to me.
"Lo gon beat your ass." I said leaving.
We should've just stayed friends from jump. Can't believe I let that shit happen. Love her ass to death but I be damned I stay faithful to somebody dat don't give a single fuck about me.
"It be the ones you least expect." I mumble to myself as I backed out of her driveway.

"Where you at I'm outside?" I told Tae as I pulled up outside of Lani's photo shoot.
"I'm finna come open the door." He said before hanging up.
I wanted to pop up on Lo since this was her first shoot for her next set of clothes she finna design. I saw Tae open the door to the building so I got out my car going inside.
Walking in I heard music blasting before I saw Lolani sitting in a chair while she got her makeup done. I walked up to where she sat motioning her makeup artist to move over a little.
"Wassup ma." I said after I kissed her lips. She opened her eyes shocked for a second.
"What you doing here?" She asked me as I sat down in a chair next to her.
"Wanted to be here for your first reshoot."
"Aww!" She squealed. I mugged her from making all that noise.
They finished her makeup and Tae fixed her hair a little before they took the her robe off. She wore a lime green two piece set thing with some huge ass blue cookie monster looking boots. Now I see why her hair was blue in the front.
I sat back watching her as she joked around with Tae and took pictures. She was taking pictures in splits and shit, lifting her leg up. Her shoot didn't last long since she only did one look. Before I knew it she was walking towards me with her hair in a bun and my sweater on.
"You ready?" I asked her as she checked her phone.
"Yep." I nodded grabbing her bag and her hand as we walked out and got into my car.
"My baby sleepy." I rubbed her chin while I drove.
"Mhm." She laid her head on the middle console as I rubbed her thigh.
"How you feel about me putting you on a song?"
"Oh nahh." She responded.
"Why not? You sing so good Lo."
"Because that was me and my brothers thing and I'm just not ready for the world to know I can sing. That's one of the things that tied me to him so I just don't want to put that on display." I nodded understanding where she was coming from.
"I'm sorry ma, Ian mean to step on your toes or nothing."
"No it's okay, you just didn't know." She responded locking her fingers between mine as I drove on the freeway.
