You and Chloe both walked into math class. You both head to your desks. You passed by Jason and saw him with his glasses on, reviewing the review sheet. He looked so cute with his glasses being all focused on studying and everything. You sat down at your desk. You loved your seat. You had the best seat. Why? Because you sat behind him. You sat behind Jason. Every day, you got to see the back of Jason's head and you couldn't complain. You saw his beautiful medium-long dirty blond hair. It always looked perfect like Lego hair. Every now and then, Jason would run his hand through his hair. You loved that. It just always looked so soft. Every day you sat behind him, you were tempted to touch his hair. From where you were sitting, you could smell it. His hair always smelled like fresh pine and mint. While you were staring at the back of his head, all of a sudden, he turned around and looked at you. You jumped. Jason laughed.

Jason: Y/n, Chloe's calling you

You cleared your throat.

You: Oh

You laughed nervously. You looked over at Chloe. She seemed annoyed.

Chloe: Girl, I called your name 3 times. Could you not hear me?

You cleared your throat again.

You: Sorry, I-

You and Chloe both see Joe limping into the classroom. You then see Jason look up. He sees Joe and laugh. Chloe looks over to you.

Chloe: Why is Joe limping and why does Jason find that funny?, she whispers to you

You: I have no idea

Joe heads for his desk. He passes Jason and kicks his foot as he walks by him. He then passes you and takes his seat behind Chloe. He then whispers to Chloe. Chloe then turns to you.

Chloe: Okay so I'm gonna slide my test to the edge of my desk and let Joe copy first ok? Then, I'll slide it to you and then you can copy.

You: Okay thanks.

Ms. Davis entered the classroom. She told the class to be quiet as she started handing out the math test. You started by filling out your name at the top of the exam. You then looked at the first question. You were lost. You read through each question trying to find one that you knew how to do. You couldn't figure out how to do any of them. You were completely lost. You were waiting for Chloe to slide her test to the edge of the desk. You looked over at Chloe. You saw Joe was still copying the answers from her.

Ms. Davis: EVERYONE KEEP YOUR EYES ON YOUR OWN PAPER.

You knew she saw you. You knew she was talking to you. You looked up. She was staring at you. 25 minutes have passed. Joe got up and walked to the front of the class and dropped his test on Ms. Davis's desk. From the corner of your eye, you saw Chloe slide the test to the edge of her desk towards you. FINALLY, you thought, but there was a problem. You felt Ms.Davis's eyes on you. You decided to play it safe and not look over. You circled the answers randomly. When everyone was finished, Ms. Davis graded them and handed them back.

You looked at the big red F on your paper. You then saw Jason get his paper. He got an A. Of course he did, he was so smart. You looked over to Chloe. She got an A. You looked behind at Joe, and of course he got the same grade as Chloe, a fucking A. Chloe looks over to you and sees your grade.

Chloe: What happened? You copied my answers, didn't you?

You: I couldn't, Ms. Davis was looking at me the whole time.

Chloe: Well, we still have the midterm. Don't worry.

The bell rings. You head for the classroom door. As you were about to walk out the door, Ms. Davis calls your name. She wanted to speak to you. Your heart dropped.

Ms. Davis: Y/n, you didn't do too well on this this test. You're going to have to get at least a C+ on the midterm exam in order to pass. I hope you come to my extra help.

You then walked out the classroom. You then saw Chloe at her locker. You open your locker and put your math books away.

Chloe: OH MY GOD!

You: What?

Chloe: Joe called me Clo!

You: And?

Chloe: JOE CALLED ME CLO! Isn't that such a cute nickname? I've never been called Clo before!

She then noticed you were upset.

Chloe: Oh my god, I'm sorry. So what did Ms. Davis say? You didn't get in trouble, did you?

You: No, but she said I'm failing, and I need to get at least a C+ on the midterm in order to get a passing grade on the report card.

Jason walks by and noticed you look upset. He asks you if you were okay. You told him the grade you got and what Ms. Davis said. Chloe leaves you two alone to talk and walks away.

Jason: I could, uh, help you study if you want, he suggests nervously

You: Really?

Jason: Sure!

Jason smiles. Joe walks by.

You: Thanks Jason!

Jason: No problem! When's your free period?

You: I have free last period, 11th. Does that work?

Jason: Yea. Meet you at the library then. Okay? Bring your calculator and your math books

You agreed.

Jason: Sounds like a plan. Ill see you later.

Jason smiles and walks away. You couldn't wait.
