Chapter 2 Side B

As you both approached the main entrance of the school, Jason opened the door for you. You walked through, and Jason followed.

Jason: So Joe, you ready for the math test?

You: No, I didn't study at all

Jason: You want me to go through the study guide with you real quick?

You: Thanks bro, but I'll just copy off Chloe

You winked at Jason. You both headed to your lockers. You see Brooklyn eagerly waiting for you at your locker. You turn to Jason.

You: Fuck, bro

Jason: Whats wrong?

You: Brooklyns waiting for me

Jason sees Brooklyn waiting for you in front of both your lockers.

Jason: Joe, you gotta tell her you don't like her.

You: Yea imma tell her right now

You walk through the halls. You look over and see Jason smiling to your classmates as you both walked by them.

You: Jay, why the fuck are you smiling?

Jason: Whats wrong with smiling?

You: Cause its weird.

You look at Jason like there's something wrong with him.

Jason: You know what's weird, you walking around looking depressed all the time.

You look at Jason and you both laugh. You had an urge to hit him but didn't.

Brooklyn: Hey Joe! Did you get my texts? You didn't respond to any of them! I got worried about you! Is everything okay?

You looked at Jason. Jason could see how annoyed and irritated you were.

Jason: Be nice Joe

Before Brooklyn could ask you another question. You immediately cut her off.

You: Brooklyn, I don't like you, never have. You're annoying and embarrassing to be around. Leave me alone.

You saw Brooklyn's face expression change immediately. You couldn't care less. She walked away.

Jason: Bruh, that's not how you talk to a girl

You: Okay Jason, you're basically a virgin. I should be teaching YOU how to talk to girls.

Jason doesn't say anything. You knew you hurt his feelings.

You: Jay i'm sorry, you know i'm just kidding right?

Jason: Whatever Joe

You both opened your lockers and got your books for math class. You both slammed the lockers shut and headed to class. You saw Chloe and Y/n at their lockers. You walked over and leaned on the locker to the left of Chloe's.

You: Hey Chloe

Chloe jumped.

Chloe: Oh my god, hey Joe!

You: So about that math test... Chloe, you wouldn't mind helping me out a little right?

Chloe: No of course not!

You: Good.

You looked over and saw Jason talking to Y/n.

You: Come on Jay

You walked away. Jason followed. You both headed towards the classroom. You looked over at Jason with a cocky smile.

You: I guess that math test is taken care of

Jason: Congrats

You felt Jason was still upset about what you said earlier. You tried to change the subject but was careful not to say anything that might make Jason even more upset. You decided to ask him about Y/n. You KNEW Jason liked her.

You: So uh, you really like Y/n huh?

You saw Jason's eye light up and blush a little. You then instinctively made fun of him.

You: Aww, baby Jay Jay, that's so cute

He suddenly got defensive.

Jason: Shut up Joe, I don't know what you're talking about

You started laughing at Jason. He kicked you in the balls and you grunted.

You: Fuck, Jason!

Jason laughed. Well, at least Jason's not upset anymore. You heard a loud crack echo through the hallway. You both turned around and saw Chloe and Y/n on the floor. You look at Jason.

You: I'm going to class

Jason: I'll meet up with you later

You: Suit yourself

Jason ran to Chloe and Y/n. You turned around and started limping to class in pain.
