"Goodbye everyone" Y/N waved tiredly at her co-workers which were Mr. Moriyama and Kuro who was too absorbed with his thoughts to even waved back.
"Be careful going home, Y/N" Mr. Moriyama adviced as the girl only nodded tiredly.
"Should I go find a new person to take Chisa's place? I'm tired to work alone especially during weekends." The girl talked to herself. She yawned tiredly and stretched out a little. Her eyes caught the sight of the blue sky. "Good thing the sun had yet to set, I can save some money by walking home." She checked on her wristwatch. 'Speaking of which, the cafe closed a bit too early today. Wonder why?'
Meanwhile at the cafe,
"What's your next plan?" Mr. Moriyama glanced at Kuro who just stared back at him emotionless.
"Don't worry about me. Just take care of your business." Kuro replied and glances back outside where he noticed Yua's parked car. "See you tomorrow then."
Mr. Moriyama smiled at the young boy. "See you tomorrow."
Who would've thought it would be the last time they'd spoke with each other.

"Ah shit. I think I miscalculated." Y/n cursed when the sky began to darken. She tightened her grasp around her canvas bag. Her house wasn't that far but it would still be a long walk. The street light flickered above her finally lighting the road. There was a shadowy figure far in front of her under the broken street lamp. The figure was crouching suspiciously on the ground with a mysterious thing beside them.
Upon getting a few steps closer, a relieved sigh escaped the girl's mouth. The suspicious figure wasn't someone dangerous or much of a stranger. It was just Mamoru fixing his bicycle. He seemed a little too focused onto his bicycle that he failed to realized Y/N walking towards him. He must have dismissed her as a random stranger walking by the neighborhood. "Are you an idiot? Fixing your bicycle under a broken lamp?" Mamoru immediately glanced at the source of the voice.
"Y/N? You always walk home after work??" He frowned.
"No.. I usually take a cab or bus and then walk but I decided not to today. Such a waste of money honestly." Y/N shrugged. "Anyway, why are you fixing your bicycle in the dark? Are you a moron?"
Mamoru rolled his eyes and stood. Just then Y/N realized the ramen packets inside the plastic bag Mamoru had. "I just finished fixing it anyway. Plus, it trained my sight in the dark."
"You're so ridiculous." Y/N laughed lightly. "Are you just going to eat ramen for dinner tonight?" She pointed at the ramen. Mamoru looked at it and dismissively shrugged his shoulders.
"Yeah, I'm too lazy to cook something fancy for myself."
"Your parents aren't home today?"
"They went on a honeymoon whatsoever. I don't care about that." Mamoru replied. He made it clear that he didn't want to talk about it. Y/N took the hint immediately. "C'mon let me give you a ride home on my fancy bicycle hahaha!"
"You sure??" Y/N raised a brow.
"100% before I'm changing my mind." Mamoru also raised his brow. "Just sit on here and hold tight okay." Mamoru said. Y/N sat on the back and hugged Mamoru's waist tightly.
Mamoru's heart raced on how the girl didn't even hesitate to hug him. Did she trusted him that much? His cheek became hot at the contact. "Hurry Mamoru! Take me to my home!" Y/N complained to which Mamoru found it cute. Unknown to him, Y/N's heart also raced but she dismissed it as nervousness.
Together they cycled to her house.
"Thank you for giving me a ride home."
"Not really a problem. I couldn't let you walk by yourself alone." Mamoru shrugged. "Well, I guess see you at school then."
"Wait, Mamoru. Why don't you have dinner at my house? You need to eat healthy food other than a pack of ramen you know?" Y/N invited. Her cheeks dusted in pink of her forwardness.
"I-I guess?? B-But aren't your parents at home?" Mamoru asked. Y/N smiled sadly at the question and just shook her head. "O-Okay then..."

Toshio glanced at the stars through the skylight. His mind helplessly wandered to Y/N. He wondered what was she doing at the moment. If she had known his past, would she still be his friend. Would she ever thought about having a relationship with him?
Toshio knew her before they even met. She didn't know that. But if she finds out how, would she even stay...? Toshio rolled to his side. The moment in the cafe that day was nice. They were having a great moment together, like normal people... Like a couple.
Oh, how he wished it would come true. He is helplessly falling in love with the girl.
