“I think Jungkook should explain that” her words made you confused. What does Jungkook have to do with all of this? You glance at Jungkook who keep on scratching his neck weirdly. He looks at you for a bit before slowly taking your hands in his.
“Promised me, you still stay even after hearing what I had to say” he said looking straight in your eyes making you nervous for no reason. You stare at him a bit before nodding in understanding. He gulped and look at Areum than turn to you.
“Areum is pregnant... with my child” you felt like your world collapse as the words slipped from his mouth. “Y-you're kidding right?” you said, not wanting to accept all of this. It hurt so bad.
“I’m so sorry Y/n... it happens when I was drunk. I didn't mean to cheat on you, I swear!” he said. Your tears already fall. You know it's pathetic, but you couldn't control yourself. It feels like a knife has been push straight on your hearts.
“What would you do now...?” you managed to asked. “I will marry Areum...” you throat hurting, hearing it from his mouth hurts more “But I will not let you go” he stated. You frowned, “Jungkook, I don't think it's good for me to stay” you look at him. Mrs Jeon already left, even though she wanted a grandchild, but this is not the way she wants.
She loves you, you're her favourites girl that Jungkook chose. As much as she hated the fact that her son did something horrible like this, she knows that she couldn't fix what already happened.
You look at Areum who just keep on avoiding your gaze. No matter what, Jungkook happiness is yours too. You know how much his love for children and you didn't want to take it away when he's got a chance to have one. “Look kook, It's alright. I allowed you to marry her. But please, let me go... if I stay, it would keep hurting me no matter what. I didn't hate you, yet I still love you...”
He shook his head while tears keep on falling. Jungkook broken state is your weakness. But in order for you to live happily is to let go. “I promised you when the day we got married that I will never let you go... I love you and I will stay with you” he said and you nodded.
“Then let me have some time for myself. 3 years, give me 3 years to fix myself and after that, I promised I'll be by your side forever” his eyes widened at your words. “I love you, but I need to love myself first. And in order for me to do that... I need some time away from all of this” you said.
It takes him about 2 days until he finally agreed. You packed your stuff and walk to the front door, there stood the love of your life and her future wife. Jungkook walk closer to you and pull you to his embraces. “Promise me, you'll come back” he whispered at your ears as you nodded slowly pecking his cheeks.
“Promise you won't try to contact me nor find me” you said looking at him. He sighs and nodded. “I’ll get going now, see you soon Jungkook” you bid him a goodbye before walking into your car and drove away. Jungkook tears started to fell. It hurts, but he knew he's the one to be blamed.
Because of your job as a model, it gave you quiet big amount of money that help you to bought large apartments. It’s been 3 weeks since you moved in. You tried to focus on your job and forget about Jungkook for a while but his face always come to your mind every single day.
Not only that, you've been feeling so weak this days. You try your best to focus on your jobs but the situation did not help. Your body is weak and with a lack sleep making your conditions worst. Another day, you walk inside the studios. The staffs is working on their jobs as you start to get changes for your photoshoot.
As you done changing, you decide to have a coffee. But when you about to drink it, your throat felt like bursting. The sudden urge to throwing up filled your body. You ran as fast as you can to the restrooms. As you got in, you quickly throwing all out.
Some of the staff who saw you went to you and help by lifting up your hair and patting your back. Your eyes get teary by the feels. It made you feel weak and exhausted.
“You should go to the hospital” she said and you nodded understanding what she's mean. “are you sure you wanted to continue the shoots?” again, you nodded and the shoots started. For the rest of the day, you were feeling everything was too hards. By the works and the urge to throw up several times.
It's such a pain but did not stop you from doing your works as a model. On the next day, you asked Eunjung, your manager to come with you to the hospital. You waited on your sit as the doctor sat in front of you. She sigh before giving you a smiles.
“Congratulations Mrs Jeon, you're two week pregnant” as she said that you felt like your world has stopped. Your heartbeats raised as you started to breath heavily not in happiness but in fears.
You did not expect this to happen as you just left Jungkook a couple of week ago and even told him to not contact you for 3 years. What should I do? You asked yourself. “I think it's better for Jungkook to know about this” Eunjung said as she help you walking towards the car.
“He is expecting another child by Areum.. it must be hard for him.. besides, I don't want to take away her times with him” you said and Eunjung sigh. “You're still his wife, and the child you're carrying is his. He has been waiting for this moments all this time. Don't let it waste”
Hearing Eunjung words, made your heads hurt. She's right, but at the same time you're scared. A month later, you decided to focus on your pregnancy and have a rest. By that, your company already made a statement regarding it's.
“Our model, Jeon Y/n will be taking a rest from entertainment world. The reason is for her to focus more on her health and wellness. Regarding that, we hope all of her fans will understands it and wish for the best” the news spread all across Korea within an hour. People were releasing many articles about it.
You sigh, looking at the news in front of you. As you thought, first thing to be happen is people surrounding Jungkook for statement. The screen shows some reporters standing and waiting in front of his company for him to walk out and giving his words about you.
You saw Jungkook walking out to leave his building but got blocked by the reporters who throw him bunch of questions about you.
“did both of you got divorce?” the question made your eyes widened. You can see Jungkook eyes also widened in shocked hearing his words. “We are not! my wife and I are still together!” he said firmly before walking away as his bodyguard started to push the reporters away.
You look down and tears started to filled your eyes. You felt guilty because you didn't want him to know about your pregnancy yet. But deep down, you were suffocating. You're dying to tell him.
You wanted to surprise him like other girl surprised their husbands. But you know, he will have to choose whether to focus more on you or Areum.
