Chapter 5

Sophia’s P.O.V.


Napabuntong hininga na lang ako habang nakatitig sa imbitasyon na ibinigay ni ate Clara. Today is kuya Jacob’s birthday so their whole gang and Lydia organize a party for him. After all of the heartbreak and loss they seems to be getting better and better now. I’m happy for ate Clara because finally she seems to find her own happily ever after. They both deserve it, they fight hard for it.


Napalabi ako sa naisip. Yeah, ate Clara got her happy ever after but that’s because both of them are fighting for it. I on the other hand is fighting alone. Ezio won’t even turn to look at me and I hate him for that but at the same time I still can’t remove him from my head. See my predicament? Mapait akong napangiti. Seven billion people in the world and I’m pretty sure more than half of it will agree that I am attractive and beautiful but I choose to fall in love with someone who can’t even stand to look at me for a minute. Fuck! Fuck him! Fuck those handsome face and fuck those dark brown mysterious eyes. Literally I want to fuck him– Oh shit!


Inis na inilapag ko ang imbitasyon sa mesa at saka na naglakad patungo sa closet. It is close to 6 pm now and the party will start at 8. I guess I’ll go ahead and start preparing now. If Ezio don’t want me then he can go to hell for all I care! He’s gonna regret his decision and I’m going to make sure to rub it in his face.


I choose to wear a beautiful O-neck red dress that hugs my figure perfectly. It is a mermaid cut so it has the illusion of making your figure an hourglass shape and it also has a slit that reaches to my upper thigh. Sexy but elegant. It will surely look good if I pair it a silver stiletto and pouch. Isang ngiti ang gumuhit sa labi ko habang tinitingnan ang sarili ko sa harap ng salamin. Ezio can admire me from the distance and he wont be able touch me because he’s an idiot. I’m gonna show him what he’s been missing.


After an hour. I am already wearing that seductive dress, I match it with silver earrings as well. I look perfect, seductive but not slutty. It shows a lot of skin in the back but it covers too much skin as well so it’s fine. Time to make that Auditore guy regret his decision of ignoring my existence.


Pagdating ko sa mansion ng mga De luca ay kapansin pansin ang sandamakmak na Harley na nakapark sa parking lot ng mansion. Well, it seems that the whole gang is here. I wonder if Ezio is here already, I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t miss his 2nd lieutenant birthday. I walk towards the house confidently and the moment I enter the door of the mansion, all eyes suddenly turns towards me as if somebody point the spotlight on my direction.


Napahinto ako sa paghakbang at iglap lang ay lahat ng confidence ko sa sarili ay naglaho. For a second I can’t decide if I should leave and go back to my car or walk out of the mansion and go back to my car. Women are wearing simple T-shirt, blouses and pants while few members of assassin are wearing their usual leather vest and denim pants. I on the other hand is wearing a freaking elegant evening dress. Ate Clara didn’t really told me that it was not a formal party and all party I’ve attend to is nothing but formal ones so I assumed this party will be the same. I know she just lost a baby but right now I wanna punch her. I wonder if kuya Jacob will just let it slide.


Men are looking me with a smirk in their lips, women with amusement in their eyes and all I want right now is for the floor to open up and swallow me up whole. That is when ate Evie approach me with that teasing smile in her lips. “You are a bit overdressed for the occasion.” She said, stating the obvious.


I can’t help but let out an awkward smile. “Yeah, that’s an understatement of the year.” I retorted as I finally decided to continue walking inside the mansion. I guess it will more awkward if I choose to go back to my car.


“Nah, it’s fine. You’re beautiful anyway so it’s okay to look stupid sometimes, it’s cute.” Pagpapalakas nito ng loob ko. Wala akong nagawa kundi ang mapailing dito. “It’s a good thing that you are a blood angel though, if not these men are really going to devour you whole.”


Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi nito. “Blood angel?” Taas kilay kong tanong rito.


Evie just shrug at my question. “You are Jacob’s sister-in-law so automatically you are under his wings. None of this members are allowed to look at you in an inappropriate manner or else me and Jacob can cut out their throat.”


Hindi makapaniwalang napatitig ako rito. “Wow, I didn’t know you have such kind of rules.” So that’s the reason why none of them really talk to me in a bad way despite on how scary looking they are with those bulky muscles and intimidating tattoos. I am not judging those people who has that qualities, it’s just that most MC are famous about not so positive things. That made me thinking, is that the reason why Ezio is avoiding me like a plague?



“Yeah, it’s necessary to keep the loyalty and order in the club. You see, this men here are not going to hesitate to kill anyone who tries to hurt their sister or mother in anyway.” Evie explained as we walk towards the table where few drinks are being served.


I see that now. It’s not really a good thing if their brotherhood broke apart just because one member ended up killing another assassin because it bedded and broke up with his little sister. I can’t help but smirk as I pick up a light drink from the table. I guess I finally understand the reason why Ezio loves to ignore my existence. It’s not really because he doesn’t find me attractive. It’s because he is not allowed to touch me.


“Why do I feel like that your smirk means trouble.” Wika ni Evie habang tumutungga sa sarili nitong bote. Lalong lumapad ang ngiti ko sa sinabi nito.


“Nah, have you ever saw if Ezio arrived already?” Tanong ko na nagpangisi rito.


Naiiling na muli itong tumungga sa hawak niyang inumin. “Baby girl, you are playing a dangerous game here. Ezio probably look handsome and harmless but he is an MC prez for a reason. I hope you know what kind of shit you are signing up yourself into.” She warned but I just responded with a beautiful smile.


“No worries, I think I can handle myself fine.” Inangat ko ang bote kong hawak rito para makipagtoast.  Hindi naman ako nito tinanggihan. Oh boy, this night is going to be fun.

Ezio’s P.O.V.


With Desmond now dead and Clara’s life now out of danger everything starts to go back to normal. When I say normal, I mean us kicking Templars ass and busting their transactions in Saeree. I only have a week here before we needed to go back to Saeree. Jacob have already decided that he will stay in Saeree with Clara so he needed to run a lot of errands for his business as well. He needs to hire trusted people for his company. It’s a good thing that he has Clara to help him with everything.


Being part of elite society is tiring and demanding. It’s a good thing that I have Federico to help me with my family’s banking business. But still I have a lot to take care of, that includes ensuring the safety of my pack, my family, my club and the town where most of the pack members are residing.


I’m in the terrace of Lydia’s house, the place is too crowded with the gang. I just want to enjoy a hard drink in peace. Speaking of peace, mukhang ngayon pa lang ay kailangan ko nang magpaalam sa katahimkan ng kinapupwestuhan ko. I can smell a sweet scent walking towards my direction and I don’t need to turn around to know who it was.


“You seems to like being alone.” She said that made me turn my eyes on her. For a second I can’t help hold my breath. Damn motherfuckers shitting on me right now. Why woman are so freaking irritating? What comes to her mind and dress up like that when she knows clearly that there will be a lot of bikers that will attend Jacob’s birthday.


The combination of the tonic drink that she is drinking is mixing with her sweet aroma. Damn, if this woman is not a blood angel, I will surely fuck here right in this terrace in front of everyone. I wanted to  mark her, to tell everyone in this house that she is mine. That nobody should look at her aside from me.


The wolf in me is humming in approval, wanting to devour this little red. I wonder how would those legs would taste like under my tongue as I lick those through its slit. I wanted to tell her how beautiful and sexy she looks in the fucking red dress but I know better than to let myself be eaten with my own lust.


Inis na tinungga ko ang alak na hawak ko. I can’t drink my fill of her so I guess I’ll just go ahead and enjoy the taste of this tonic in my tongue. Though I know it will not going to taste as half good as hers. Lucky is the man that she will choose for life. Hindi ko maiwasan ang paghigpit ng pagkakahawak ko sa baso ng alak sa kamay ko. Wala pa man ay gusto ko nang patayin ang sinumang magbabalak manligaw rito. I am an assassin anyway. I might end up earning a vip ticket to hell for doing that but that’s fine if that means I am not gonna see her on another man’s arms.


To my irritation the woman just walk closer to me. Sumandal ito sa terrace paharap sa akin. Accentuating those perky breast that’s swelling on the side of her dress, giving me a small peek on what I cannot have and that did the trick. Now I am in full hard on with a woman who’s willing to be fuck in front of me but I am not allowed to touch. Moongoddess this woman is testing all of the patience that I don’t have in the first place.


“Are you really gonna ignore me this whole night?” She asks while her hand starts to play on the hem of my vest. I take a deep breath and finally turn my eyes on her. She let out a grin of victory knowing that she finally got my attention.


“You are an educated woman Sophia, acting like a putana doesn’t suit your innocent face so why don’t you start acting like an elitist that you are.” Sita ko rito. Anger and lust is darkening my tone.


To my irritation, her smile only widen at my words. “I don’t think you have the rights to tell how I should and should not act.” Sagot nito bago tumungga sa hawak nitong baso. And damn me because all I can see is her sweet small mouth giving me a head as she kneel on my bed. “You are not my lover, not my man, not my brother and definitely not my father. What made you think that your opinion on how I act will affect me?” I can hear a challenge in her tone and I know she’s just pushing my limits but damn her because it’s working.


I’m so close in strangling this woman and pull her in one of the spare room to give her a lesson or two. “Go on then, whore around this bikers. Fuck anyone you want and leave me in peace.” I hissed before removing her hand that’s playing on my vest in a harsh manner.


Tinalikuran ko ito at walang lingon likod na humakbang patungo sa bar counter. Leaving her alone in that terrace. Fuck that woman is going to be the death of me.
