Harry drove Summer back to her parents' house on the edge of New York so she could grab some new clothes and shower quick, they then headed back to Harry's shop where he went upstairs to shower and change. He had logged onto his laptop to see his skype had blown up with messages from Alex, forgetting the time differences he rang her back as quick as he could, to his surprise she answered.

"Harry?"

"Is everything okay?

Harry could hear the floor creaking in his apartment, he knew it was Summer and he prayed she wouldn't make herself visible now, his door was open and he didn't want Alex to jump to conclusions. He frowned when he saw Alex, she had clearly been crying.

"I can't do this anymore, Harry."

He frowned, "What do you mean?"

"I need someone that's here not halfway around the world, I miss you and it's tarring me apart. Look how long we've been together, you haven't even said you love me yet."

"I was waiting for the time to be right, Al, don't break up with me, please." Harry begged.

She wiped her eyes with the sleeve of her jumper, "Tell me you love me then."

Harry paused, he didn't want Alex to leave him, but he couldn't tell her that he loved her, he liked her, a lot but it didn't compare to Aryn.

"You can't, can you?"

"I'm sorry, it's just..." He trailed off, thinking of how to put it.

"I should have listened to Zayn, he knew you loved Aryn, I knew too but I didn't want to believe it. Is that why you can't tell me?"

"Maybe it is for the best, I'm sorry." Harry mumbled, rubbing his neck.

"Yeah, so am I, Harry. Good luck and keep in touch." She paused a minute, "She's coming in two weeks, you better tell her."

Then the call ended. Harry closed his laptop and the floor creaked, looking round he saw Summer walk in slowly as she took a seat on his bed.

"I'm such a terrible person." Harry muttered, "She deserves better."

Summer placed her arm around Harry, offering him support as he dropped his head to her shoulder.

"You're not a terrible person, Harry. You're just confused and trying to figure out what to do, that takes time and sometimes it takes mistakes to realise. Are you okay?"

"I'm sad." He mumbled, "But it wasn't going anywhere, she can be happier now I suppose."

"Do you know what you have to do now?" Summer asked him

"What?"

"Spend the next two weeks planning on how you'll tell Aryn that she's the love of your life and you want to have lots of sex and babies with her, while naming the first born girl after yours truly."

Harry laughed at Summer and Summer found herself smiling at his laugh, it was beautiful to her and although she knew she was digging herself a hole, she didn't want to climb out. She knew that she had two weeks to try and win Harry's heart but with the love he held for his best friend she had potentially set herself up for failure, and Summer doesn't fail but this time she knew that it was a possibility and a big one at that.
