Chapter one: letters

Please enjoy, and please let me know if this is sucky in the comments. Thank you. Oh, and in this, the boys are 16 and the girls are 15. I know in the anime they're not actually those ages but I like it like that. Hanabi is 11 and Konohamaru is 12. Don't ask me why Hanabi and Konohamaru are dating so young, deal with it. (They've only been dating for a month.) I don't own anything but the plot.

At Neji's house

"What's this?"
"Looks like a school acceptance letter."
"It's addressed to you, Neji-kun."
"Let me see it, Ruby."
"Read it aloud."
The Letter read:

'Dear Mr Neji Hyūga,
You have been accepted to Konoha School for the Gifted. We will be expecting you to arrive next Monday, April 21. As this is a boarding school, you will bring anything you wish to keep with you. You do not need to bring lots of clothes, though for special events please make sure you have formal clothing that fits you. You will receive multiple sets of the school uniform. The campus will be your new home for most of the year. Please make sure you do not forget anything for you may not go home to get forgotten items during the school year, the only times you may go home (for one day only) are Christmas, Summer Solstice, and Easter. Again, we are expecting you next Monday, April 21.

Neji read aloud the letter.
"Neji, do you know what this means?"
"No, what though, Ruby?"
"We're breaking up."
"What!? Why!?"
"I wasn't accepted, and a long distance relationship won't work. Besides, I love someone else now anyway. His name's Tony. Pack your stuff, you're leaving in three days."
"But Ruby—"
"If we kept our relationship, we would still see each other only three times a year! I can't deal with that, besides you have family you need to visit so we probably wouldn't see each other at all! Besides, I want to go too, but no, you were Mr Lucky and got to, if I had been accepted I wouldn't break up with you! Neji, WE'RE DONE!!!!"

At Naruto's house

"Naruto! You have a letter! It looks very important, too!"
"Calm down Shion, let me see the letter."
"Read it aloud, please?"
"Okay."
Naruto opens the letter and reads:

'Dear Mr Naruto Uzumaki,
You have been accepted to Konoha School for the Gifted. We will be expecting you to arrive next Monday, April 21. As this is a boarding school, you will bring anything you wish to keep with you. "What!? Why though Shion?! We've been dating for two years and now we're breaking up? Why?!"
"Because, a far distance relationship won't work, and I didn't get accepted! Pack your stuff, your leaving in three days! Besides, there's a guy I promised I would date named Edward."
"Fine! If you're breaking up with me, fine! I'll find someone else, Shion."

At Shikamaru's house

"Shikamaru! Get your lazy butt up! You have a letter that looks very important!"
"Alright Shiho, I'm up, I'm up!"
"Read the letter. Aloud."
"Fine."
Shikamaru started reading the letter out loud so Shiho could hear.

'Dear Mr Shikamaru Nara,
You have been accepted to Konoha School for the Gifted. We will be expecting you to arrive next Monday, April 21. As this is a boarding school, you will bring anything you wish to keep with you. You do not need to bring lots of clothes, though for special events please make sure you have formal clothing that fits you. You will receive multiple sets of the school uniform. "Pack up Shikamaru, you're leaving in three days, I'm not helping you. Besides, we're breaking up."
"What!? But we've been dating for a long time though! Why now?"
"Shikamaru, you know I've always wanted to go to Konoha School for the Gifted, you know that. But you're the one who got accepted, not me. Don't you remember that being able to attend KSG has always been my dream? We're done."
"You're so troublesome Shiho."
"Oh and by the way, I promised a guy named Mark that I would go on a date with him."

At Sasuke's house

"Sasuke-kun! You have a letter, it has a crest on it, it might be for a school, you might have gotten into a school. Did you apply for a school or something?"
"I'm coming Karin. But I never applied for a school anyway. Why do I have a letter like that?"
"How am I supposed to know? Now read the letter aloud, I want to know what it says."
Sasuke opens the envelope and reads the paper aloud.

'Dear Mr Sasuke Uchiha,
You have been accepted to Konoha School for the Gifted. We will be expecting you to arrive next Monday, April 21. As this is a boarding school, you will bring anything you wish to keep with you. "YOU GOT INTO KSG!? THATS THE PLACE I ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO THOUGH!! I WANT TO GO!!!"
"Sorry Karin, I never asked to go there anyway."
"Sasuke, I'm breaking up with you. You get to go to the place I always wanted to go. After you, I loved Suigetsu. But I don't love you anymore, so I'm dating Suigetsu now. Pack, you're leaving in three days. And don't forget anything you want, just like the letter said."
"Fine. Go on your silly little date now, I'm packing. Don't expect me to visit you. I'm never coming back."

At Sai's house

"Sai! Sai! You have a letter!"
"Coming, Rachel!"
"Hurry! What if it's important but then you miss the deadline and something bad will happen!?"
"Jeez Rachel, I'm right here."
"Open it and let me hear what it says."
"Okay, Rachel."
Sai read the letter out loud:

'Dear Mr Sai,

"Alright then, cheater, I'm packing. And after this day, don't let me see your ugly, cheating face ever again. I'll find someone else that I will love, someone who will be  faithful and loyal to me. Goodbye, cheater."
