The next day, Simba went to school on the early bus so that he could go to school alone and not have to bear the pain of informing his friends. What happened last night was quite traumatic and tragic. Simba had tears in his eyes for hours after that. He checked his pockets. There was no clinking of money. Well, it looks like no breakfast today in the canteen. Simba went to school without saying a word to his mother. He felt quite regretful at first however Simba knew that he was in no condition to talk to anyone, his mother didn't even come in his consideration. He took the last seat in the bus, plugged in his earbuds and started listening to some soothing music. Then, Simba's least favourite person in the world care to the back of the bus and sat down next to Simba.

"Oh!"Nigel cried.
"Oh!"Came another cry from behind him. Both laughed and put their hands around Simba. In frustration, Simba took out his earbuds and threatened, "Go away! Unless you want it to be like yesterday!"
Nigel and his friend roared with laughter once again. "Yo Patel, we don't want this to be like yesterday, but you sure do! Anyway, we were here to say thanks for what you did for me yesterday." He declared. Now it was Simba's turn to laugh.
"I'm sorry but did I just hear Nigel Cook say thank you to me? Or are my ears broken? Probably the latter. Anyway it's fine. Now you can go away."
"Wow, you didn't have to be so rude! I was just saying thanks." Then, Nigel's friend whispered something to Nigel and a broad grin formed on his face.
"Nice shoes, Patel!" He mentioned. They walked away laughing. Simba was left confused. He looked at his feet and realised how daft he had been. He was still wearing his slippers. What a way to disgrace yourself in front of you arch-nemesis.

Simba quickly went to the main office in his school, when the bus had arrived and gave the receptionist his permission note for the Greece trip along with a print out of the amount of money transferred to the school's account. Simba had been confused when he had seen this in the morning. How could his mum had transferred that ridiculous amount of money in one go? But he didn't want to talk to anyone at that time so he didn't ask her. Anyway, she was sleeping. While he was in the reception, Simba also requested for some shoes. The lady eyed him closely but then gave him some from lost property. That's the problem with the staff in this school. They are so unsuspicious. Sometimes, Simba thought that the students could be better teachers than them in this school. Simba headed straight to his form, without waiting for Reyna and AJ to come. As he pushed the door open, three figures greeted him. One was of course his teacher- Miss Dale. The other two were AJ and Reyna.

Reyna raised her eyes at him and AJ planted a smirk on his face. "You really thought we would board that bus without you Sim? Why weren't you there?" He questioned. Now Simba was left with two pathways again- tell his friends about the dream or not. Knowing that Miss Dale was present, he chose that latter. "Hey, guys! I'm really sorry I didn't tell you! You see, the cat had a nightmare today and refused to tell anyone about it and wanted to be left alone. So I came early to leave her alone." Now you might be thinking that Simba's lying skills are pathetic and inadequate. However, any army student would know that this is code language for- 'I had a nightmare. I will tell you later.' Miss Dale looked at Simba with a puzzled look.
"I love my cat. So I had to listen to it" Simba added and she started to nod. AJ and Reyna also nodded and took this as their cue to leave.

When Simba sat on his seat, he noticed a piece of newspaper lying on the floor. It was clearly dropped by someone. It was stained with mud and was heavily creased. Simba picked it up and started to straighten the creases. Now, the newspaper name was legible. It was the Weekly World paper. Simba had seen those previously. They had all sorts of conspiracies about all the political stuff going on in the world. Simba had once seen his mother read it and she didn't talk for the rest of the day.' How bad could it possibly get?' He thought and started reading it.

The first line had some bizarre news about a virus that had infected three people in China and could possibly spread to the whole world and kill a large number of people. Simba scoffed. Not like he had enough problems to deal with. Simba went to the Global Warfare ( his favourite part in newspapers) page and started immersing himself in it.

Rare Footage Found in Syria of a Military camp Amidst the Desert
Simba's eyes jerked open. They were half-closed until now. He sat up and started reading more of the paper.
Just recently, on 22nd February, the U.S. military sent a drone in Syria, hoping to find useful information about the mysterious Trillion group. And how spectacularly did they meet their expectations! The place the drone was taking a video of was actually the place where the 7 gallant and patriotic heroes of the RAF gave their lives to deliver vital Intel to the army camps in Syria. However, they had been mysteriously intercepted by the Trillion group and all killed. Though now maybe things might change... This drone captures the footage of several hand-cuffed prisoners that this group are keeping. The U.S. Military is currently planning to save them from the clutches of these vile people. Maybe they might be the heroic RAF fighters who were presumed dead or it might be some innocent people. Either way, it's still the U.S. Army's responsibility to save them. Sadly, the drone was shot down by one of the people of the horrid organisation. If you liked this news and would like to get in touch with us then please contact us on our website. On the next page, we have attached a picture that the drone took of the organization's camp. We hope it will help. We wish and pray that these innocent people are saved by the U.S. Army.

Simba was unable to think. It turned out that it was quite difficult for his brain to process all of this. He didn't blink for a long time and kept on looking at the newspaper. His silence was interrupted by the voice of Miss Dale continuously saying his name.
"Simba! That's the third time! Are you sure that you are feeling all right today? You have been acting unusually strange." Simba just blinked at her. He was unable to speak. The joy of knowing that there was now a higher chance of his father being alive was preventing him from talking. After a few seconds, he replied back, " Never felt better miss!" Then he stood up and walked out of the class, the class snickering behind his back. He had no idea when they came. Simba didn't need to think because he couldn't think about anything. He couldn't think about how his mum would react when Miss Dale would tell her about his odd behaviour. Nor how he would explain all this to Reyna and AJ. No. All he could think about was his dad. And how he would rescue him.
