WARNING: This chapter talks about child neglection, light mention of abuse, the VK's backstory and lots of expectation put onto a child. This involves a bit of family "drama," and I say that in quotation since I'm not to sure how to word it, but IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO THIS SORT OF CONTENT, your safety point will be bolded BEFORE and AFTER that section of the story is over. There is also a mention of sex, and if you are sensitive to that I will do the same thing I did for the earlier warnings. Viewer Discretion is advised.
"Take a sip of my secret potion, I'll make you fall in love. For a spell that can't be broken, one drop should be enough."

After Mal and Evie had rejected their invitation to their sleepover, claiming that they had a lot of things to do, the three Auradon girls left their dormitory, all three of them going their separate ways after waving each other a goodbye. Lonnie went to go to her dorm, Jane went off to find her mother in regards to the Coronation and Ivy was left to her own devices.
It had been at least a few hours, one or two, give or take. The fair girl didn't do much, wandering around the halls, sitting on windowsills and doodling buildings in her notebook, eating, etc.--since she didn't feel like going back to hers and Jane's dorm--with her earbuds in her ears. Pressing shuffle on one of her hundreds of playlists once more, Be my Baby by Bea Miller, started to ring into her ears, the familiar rhythm setting a smile onto her face.
Humming to the beat of the song, Ivy spun around a couple times, the chorus making dance to the beat. The fair girl didn't feel she was at Auradon Prep anymore, she felt like she was in a whole other world.
Ivy unknowingly passed Ben, who was already on his way to see Mal and the others, having the soon-to-be King look at his friend weirdly, watching Ivy pass him as she bopped her head. Grabbing her arm lightly to grab her attention, Ivy let out a shriek, grabbing Ben's wrist in return with her fast reflexes.
Wincing, Ben started to laugh when he got a good look of Ivy's face. She looked petrified and angry at the same time, ready to punch the living daylights out of him. When she realized it was Ben, she let go of him before slapping his arm and apologizing profusely, then scolding him on not to sneak up on anyone.
"You should've seen your face. You were like..." Ben mimicked her face, twisting his features into exaggerated expressions. Ivy scrunched her nose at the look of his face, hitting him playfully.
"At least I don't have to look like you twenty-four-seven." Ivy sassed, flipping her ponytail over her shoulder. The Charmington Princess could see her childhood best friend rubbing his wrist. Ivy pulled out her ear buds, pausing her song, giving the device and her earbuds to put into her bag. "I'm sorry about your arm. To be fair, I thought you were gonna mug me."
