Ok I like this ship but only in very specific circumstances. This ship is kind of a mess and really depends on what AU it's place in, so I'll just separate those
Canon Game:
I don't think it'd work out very well, Henry's pretty upset with Joey plus he's married.
As for their dynamic, it's DEFINITELY Unrequited Love. Joey has heavy feelings for Henry but he's already got a loving wife at home.
Everyone Lives/Pregame AU:
It... could work. Depends on Joey's insanity level and whether or not he plans on killing people or has already killed people.
I could see Joey as being gentle with Henry, at least in public, then being a bit rougher when they're more... ~private~ *cue the sexy music* As for Henry, I think he's very soft and forgiving of Joey.
Henry Stein Studios AU:
Yeah no. Nope. Not a chance.
Unrequited love again but Joey is also in an asylum so...

Joey x Buddy
No no no no no. Nope. Not happening.
They're established dynamic fits a more father/son sort of relationship than it does a romantic one. I'm not even coming up with an actual dynamic for these two because Buddy is canon 17 and even if Joey somehow first opened the studio at the age of 18 in 1929, he'd be at LEAST 35 by Dreams Come to Life. Buddy is still a minor since this takes place in the U.S. and even then that's a BIG age gap. So. No. No thanks.

This ones a maybe.
Joey still calls Bertrum "Bertie" and he hates it, but has also started calling Joey "Jo-Jo" in response as revenge. They follow the Enemies to Lovers dynamic are probably very aggressive with each other. They have angry ~private times~ *aggressive sexy music*

This ones on the fence for me.
Joey calls Thomas "Tommy". They have a similar dynamic to Joey and Bertrum except Thomas is definitely physically stronger than Joey so if it's a fight for dominance he's probably gonna win. Joey usually wins insult battles though because Thomas doesn't talk as much as him, but he does have his ways of shutting Joey up~ ;3

Also on the fence.
Enemies to Lovers again. This one would get toxic very quick I'd think. Joey is too focused on his dreams why Sammy has terrible anger issues. They're somehow more aggressive than Thomas x Joey and Bertrum x Joey combined. Joey has probably tried to get intimate with Sammy at work a couple times which led to Sammy nearly poking his eye out with a violin bow or something. They're definitely both switches but Sammy probably usually is the bottom unless he's REALLY mad at Joey that day... which is a lot.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO A JILLION NOS AND A SIDE OF BACON SOUP
The power balance between these two is AWFUL because THERE IS NO BALANCE!!! There is no world where I've been able to see this relationship work out. Joey would most definitely abuse Grant in more ways than one and Grant would most likely never speak up until someone (Shawn or Lacie) made him.
