after her and nessa's subtle shading, jada had calmed down and was getting ready for an event at a venue but nessa was booked at the same venue. nobody knew that except for both their managers, who were setting up something for publicity. "you ready yet?" addison asked jada as avani and lailani sat on the couch. "yeah, yeah, let's go!" jada said, grabbing her car keys. at the same time, nessa was getting ready, neither of them knew what was to come. when they both arrived, they were giving out hugs and taking pictures. jada was first on the stage, and everything was working out just the way the managers had wanted. "fuck, fuck, oh my god-" avani said under her breath, trying to locate addison or at least vallyk. as soon as she turned a corner, she saw vallyk. "thank god! nessa's here, and i don't know what jada's gonna do if she sees her-" avani explained quickly, nearly out of breath.
"woah, okay, uh- where's jada?" vallyk asked, looking around for jada while also trying to calm avani down. jada had her gold microphone in her hand, looking for addison. vallyk saw her before she saw him, and grabbed her arm. "ay, chill, what the hell?" jada asked. "i'm trying to protect yo-" vallyk said before jada started yelling. "WELL LOOK WHO IT IS!" jada yelled, making nessa turn her head. "aw, the alcoholic has something to say!" nessa said with a fake smile. jada went to run toward her, but vallyk grabbed her before she could. so, improvising, she grabbed her microphone and launched it at nessa, hitting her directly in the forehead, knocking her down.
