"at the time, it looked like he was right-" vallyk said. "okay, what did he say?" jada asked, making vallyk realize he was just digging himself in a bigger hole every time he spoke. "does that matter?" he asked her, really not wanting to make this worse for himself. "yes, why wouldn't it matter?" jada questioned, rolling her eyes. "he just said it looked like you and alejandro weren't just..you know..friends." vallyk said back. "why does everybody always gotta bother ME!?" jada sighed, opening her phone.
