Chapter 5
I DON’T OWN YUGIOH OR THE CHARACTERS! ENJOY!
Yugi stares at his son for what seems forever until he decides that it is ready for him to know the truth about his mother..
“The truth about your mom is that…. She died when she gave birth to you… I didn’t want to tell you anything because… I didn’t want you growing thinking it was your fault of her death. Your mother was a beautiful women, you have her smile you know. I’m sorry… I know I should’ve told you this sooner but I’m still hurt knowing she’s gone and I didn’t want you being hurt.” Yugi had tears in his eyes, he didn’t want his son to be mad at him but he knew that he has all the rights to be mad at him. Tsuki stared at his father with sad eyes, he wraps his arms around father.
“I forgive you dad”
Yugi was in shock when he heard that his son has forgave him just like that.
“Do you really forgive me?”
“Yea… I guess I would’ve done the same but is still would’ve liked it if you told me earlier…”
“I’m sorry son..”
Yugi and Tsuki just stayed there silent until Tsuki decided to speak up.
“Can I see a picture of her? Please…”
Yugi was still for a moment until he decided to go to his bedroom and took out a small box. Yugi just took a deep breath and took the box to the Tsuki’s room. He placed the box on Tsuki’s bed, Tsuki looked at the box, it was a old wooden box on top of the box it said “Memories”. Tsuki looked at his father and then looked back the box.
“Open it…” Yugi said to his son.
Tsuki open the box, in the box it had a picture of beautiful women with dark purple eyes. Her hair was curly and black. She had a big smile just like Tsuki did. In the picture she was wearing a nice beautiful white dress and behind her was his father, holding her from the waist. Tsuki felt tears trying to escape from his eyes but he didn’t let them fall. He puts the photo down and look inside the box again to find a shirt of hers in there. He puts it down and digs deeper into the box to only find a necklace and a few more pictures. Tsuki looks at the necklace, it was a small upside down Egyptian pyramid, in the middle of the pyramid was eye of Horus.
“It was your mothers favorite necklace… she told me she wanted to give it to you when you were older. If you want you can have it. So you can have something of her.” Said Yugi.
Tsuki looked at his father with a small smile and nodded yes. He quickly put on the necklace, he looks at his dad and just runs towards him to give him a hug.
“I know it must have been hard for you to tell me all this but thank you dad.”
“You’re welcome son and here have this picture of her, she’s was 6 months pregnant with you, she loved you so much. She always sang to you when you were kicking in her tummy, she called you her small peanut.”
Tsuki had tears rolling down his cheek, he wished that his mother didn’t have to die.
Yugi and Tsuki were silent for a while until tsuki asked his dad a question that he hoped his son would forget but sadly he didn’t.
“Umm dad… so were you and Mr.Sennen lovers? Asked Tsuki
“It’s getting late… you should go to sleep.” Yugi says in a rushing tone.
Yugi tucks in Tsuki into bed and gives him a kiss on the forehead. Yugi was headed to the door but as soon he was about to shut the door he heard Tsuki say something.
“Thank you dad, love you”
Yugi softly smiled at Tsuki and said “Love you 2 son” and quietly left.
