Chapter 10
I DON'T OWN YUGIOH!
A few days has passed and the day of the trial has come. Yugi and Tsuki were getting ready when they hear a knock on the door. Yugi went to open the door to see Yami and Ōkami dressed nicely.
"Hey Yami, hey Ōkami come in." said Yugi to both of them.
Once everyone was ready they headed to the court. Soon the trial had started and Tea entered the room. Yugi and Tsuki were telling their sides of the story to the jury. Then Tea started to tell her side of the story, she said that she didn't abandoned Yami & Ōkami. She also said that she never left a note saying that she was leaving them, but clearly she was lying,
Yami, then went up to the judge to give him the letter that Tea had left him. Yami kept it just in case if she ever tried to take Ōkami away from Yami.
The recording that Tsuki had recorded of Tea threatening to kill him, was enough proof to sentence Tea for 20-30 years in prison.
Once the officers were taking Tea away, she kicked one of them in the groan. She soon grab a sharp utensil near hear and went after Yugi and stabbed him in his stomach. Yami quickly grabbed Tea's wrist before she can stab him again.
Yami glared at Tea, Tea then regretted what she did and tried to ask for forgiveness but Yami slapped her. The officer quickly grabbed Tea before she can do anymore damage. The judge started to pound his gavel on the sound block to make the audience be quiet. Tea looked straight at the judge's eyes. By the look he has, she knew she was screwed.
"Send Yugi to the hospital quickly, he's losing a lot of blood! As for Tea Gardner, you are charged for attempting murder on Yugi Mouto and for hurting on of my officers, you are sentenced for life. No bail and no parole. That's all, take her away, just looking at her makes me sick!" said the judge while pounding her gavel on his sound block.
The officers quickly took Tea away and hold on to her tight so she won't escape.
All the Mouto family quickly went to the hospital. Yami ran quickly to the secretary's desk.
"What room is Yugi Mouto in" Yami asked out of breath.
"He's in room B212 but only two people in the room."
Yami sighed he really wanted to see Yugi but instead he let Grandpa and Tsuki go in first. Tsuki and Grandpa entered Yugi's room, Yugi was asleep and he had some wires attached to him.
Tsuki wanted to cry, he didn't want his dad to be like this. Tsuki went to Yugi's bedside and held his hand, grandpa did the same thing.
"I believe you are Yugi Mouto's family?"
Grandpa and Tsuki quickly looked up to see a doctor.
"How is he doctor?" Tsuki said trying to stay calm.
"He will be just fine, but he'll have to stay bed rested for the next two weeks. Luckily the stabs weren't too deep, when he wakes up he can go home."
"Thank you so much doctor"
"No problem"
Tsuki and Grandpa left the room to let Yami and Ōkami see Yugi. Ōkami stayed behind he rather let his father have some alone time with Yugi.
"So how's your dad" Ōkami asked Tsuki.
"He's going to be fine, he's just going to be bed rested for a while." Tsuki said happily
"That's good to hear." Ōkami said relieved.
Yami entered the room and walked towards Yugi. He rubbed his fingers on Yugi's soft pale cheek. Yugi's eyes softly open.
"Yami is that you?"
Yami quickly held Yugi's hand.
"Yes I'm here aibou."
"What happened to me?"
"Well Tea stabbed you and she got sentenced for life with no bail and no parole. Also you will be bed rested for the next two weeks."
"Well that's just great, I don't like to be in bed the whole day."
"Don't worry I'll take care of you" Yami smiled towards Yugi.
"No, you have to run your company and..."
Yugi was cut off by Yami kissing him.
"Yugi, you are my everything and I want to be there for you. I want to help you recover okay? I love you Yugi Mouto."
Yugi was left speechless, his face was the color of a bright red tomato. All that Yugi can do is nod his head saying he approved of Yami taking care of him.
