I DON’T OWN YUGIOH NOR THE CHARACTERS!!!!!!!!!!
Yugi’s eyes were wide open for what he heard made his heart beat so fast that it stared to hurt. His face has turned to the color of a tomato.
“O-Oi… don’t call me that… sit down and eat.” Yugi didn’t even look at Yami in the eyes, but Yami knew he was blushing it made Yami’s heart skip a beat, maybe he could get his aibou back.
They both ate in silence.
‘Ugh can’t believe that I let him stay for dinner. I feel stupid, I know I’m only going to get hurt…’ Yugi thought to himself
“Are you feeling alright Yugi? You look sick.” Yugi was taken out of his thoughts and came back to reality.
“Yea, I’m feeling okay, don’t worry about me.” Yugi tried to manage to say it happily.
“You sure?”
“Yes, don’t worry…”
They both ate in silence again.
“How have you been these last couple of years?” Yami asked in a voice of sad and regret.
It kind of shocked Yugi by his question but then yet they haven’t spoken since that day.
“I’ve been fine I guess. I got married and then had Tsuki. I became a surgeon soon, then the hospital where I used to work transferred me to Domino and here we are.” Yugi manage to put on the most fakest smile.
But Yami saw in his eyes sadness and loneliness.
“Where’s your wife?” Yami asked knowing that she could’ve possibly abandoned Tsuki and him. Yami heart started to hurt a bit thinking that she had abandoned him and their child.
“She died…” Yugi manage to say unemotionally.
Yami wasn’t expecting Yugi to say that. It made Yami feel bad for jumping into conclusion and thinking that it was her fault. Yugi got up from her seat and headed towards the fridge.
On the fridge there were bills, receipts, little drawings made by Tsuki when he was younger. Behind all those papers there were a photo of Yugi and his dead wife sitting down on bench smiling and being happy. He showed it to Yami.
“Wow… she’s beautiful…”
“Yea she was… She died while giving birth to Tsuki. I cried and cried for days but I knew I haded to get over it for Tsuki’s sake. That’s why I never told him, until a few days ago.” Yugi was already in the verge of crying but was trying to hold it in.
Yami got up from his seat and yugi with noticing it, Yami gaved him a strong comforting hug.
Yugi’s eyes went so wide he didn’t know what was happening. He smelled the familiar mint scent and all he can do was wrap his arms around his waist and just cry. To let out all the pain he has been in since that unforgettable day.
Tsuki and Ōkami POV
“Hey Ōkami do you think it was a good idea to leave your dad and my dad alone?”
“Hell yea! It seemed that they had had problems way back and instead of talking about it they ignore it. So let’s hope they make up and probably you’ll become my stepbrother.” Ōkami said while giving Tsuki a heartwarming smile.
Tsuki hoped that they would make up because he wants his father to be happy. He didn’t mind having Ōkami as a brother, he already consider him as one.
“So where are we heading to Ōkami?”
“Well if you’re hungry we can go to this amazing pizzeria and then head towards to the arcade, then head home. Sounds good?”
Tsuki smiled at Ōkami shooked his head yes.
Back to Yugi and Yami (Normal POV)
Yami soon let Yugi go but before he could, he whispered into his ear “You’re not alone, I’m here.”
What Yami said made Yugi’ hear beat rapidly, Yugi wanted to hold Yami, he wanted to kiss him he wanted to be with him but he was so scared to get hurt.
Soon they both went back to their seats and ate silently again.
“I’m sorry for your lost yugi… I know how hard it is to raise a child all alone, I know how lonely you feel…”
‘Wait, what does he means he know how it feels to raise a child alone… Isn’t he married to Tea.’ Yugi thought sadly.
“Tea left me when Ōkami was only 5 years old. I didn’t love her so I was pleased that she finally left but I was yet sad for my son not going to have a mother. At that time I didn’t have my company yet so I working at a restaurant at that time. It was hard for me to take care of him because I didn’t have any living family members at that time. Tea’s family didn’t live in Japan. So I hired a babysitter to take care of him while I worked. I don’t know if you remember Kaiba Seto from high school but I got a letter from him his company to go to his father’s death will reading. I didn’t know why I hadded to go but I knew that I had to. So I went, in Kaiba’s father will it said that Kaibas my cousin, that his father and my father were brothers. He said that he was dory for not being there for me and my father. I was already in shock that Kaiba was my cousin but what shocked me the most is that Kaibas father left me 50% of his company to me. So then I took that 50% of his company and made it into a new gaming company named Sennen Corporations.” Yami gave Yugi a sad then yet happy smile to yugi.
“So in conclusion my life has been alright nut there was something missing no someone missing. Someone, who could always make me smile and happy. Yugi do you know who that person is.” Yami gave him the most saddest look that he has ever seen.
Yugi was scared to answer because he thought that if he answer “I don’t Know” then he’ll hear a name that is not his. But if he answered saying his name, he was scared that yami would only laugh at him. He doesn’t want to get hurt again by the guy he loves. Soon he answered saying “I don’t know”.
Yami got up from his seat and slowly head towards Yugi. Yugi was just staring at the young handsome man. Yami got onto his knees so he can be the same height as yugi. Yugi was holding onto his chair, scared to hear the answer.
Yami grabbed Yugi’s hand and slowly intertwined his fingers with yugi’s. Yugi was blushing so hard he couldn’t think straight. Yami took a deep breath and said “That someone is you yugi… I’ve missed you so much, you have no idea. I still love you after all these years, I never wanted to leave you but I had to… because I was being blackmailed by Tea. I’m sorry Yugi.” Yami was already crying and holding Yugi in his arms.
“I love you Yugi, I’ve always have. I never wanted to tell you those awful words on that day. I love you.” Yami stopped hugging yugi and started to hold yugi’s hand. He slowly cupped Yugi’s cheek and stared into yugi’s amethyst eyes. Yami slowly leaned in and captured Yugi’s soft lips. Yugi’s eyes went so wide and his face was bright as a color of a tomato. He didn’t stopped the kiss, instead he closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Yami’s neck and kissed him back.
They both soon stopped kissing for air. Yugi looked into Yami’s crimson eyes and said the words that Yami has been wanting to hear since the day he left Yugi.
“I forgive you Yami, I love you Yami.”
Yugi captured Yami’s lips again and began to kiss him passionately like they used to when they were young and in love.
