Episode 3-Snakebit

It was very early in Ninjago as the sun was just rising up now as the sky changed from orange to bright blue and the sun shun over the desert

Of course the ninjas were still sleeping...well were sleeping until

*Gone crashing*
"Evil doesn't sleep and neither should you!" Sensei Wu barged in as he was crashing a Gone very loudly

The ninjas groaned loudly at him as they either pulled the covers over them or cover themselves with a pillow

"In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity" Sensei yelled over the Gone

*Gone crashing*

"Okay, Okay, We're up" Kai groaned as jumped down from his bed and the others did the same as they got out of their beds

"But if you want us to reach our full potential, Shouldn't we at least get a full night of sleep?" Kai asked as he groggily went over to the blinds to open them but then they fell off before they were open

"Uhh, you call that rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress" Cole grunted with his hands on his back

"I would rather sleep on a bed of nails than that piece of wood" Katie commented as she yawned and gestured to her bed

Jay went to brush his teeth at the sink that was in the corner
"We were up so late, talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters" Jay said as he was about to put water on his toothbrush but...it was sand instead

"I guess we lost track of time, since the Serpentine burned down the Monastery, I'm glad we have a roof over our heads" he went to put the toothbrush in his mouth but regretted it as sand went into his mouth
"Ack!" He quickly spat it out

"What is our lesson today, sensei?" Zane asked as he did a few stretches while ignoring Jays choking noises in the background
"Mastering the strike of the scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of a—"

But then the floorboard under Zane broke as Zane was literally half-way through the floor
"How about the art of breaking stuff?" Katie jokely said as she smirked at Zane who was coughing up dust

"I think today's lesson will be...chores" Sensei said

"Chores?" They all said simultaneously

"Ninjas fight, sensei. They do not clean" Cole told him

Katie groaned
"Feels like I'm living with my mum again" she sighed

"In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from" sensei told them "And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters" he added as he turned around to walk out the door
"I expect things to be spotless when I return...and put your backs into it" he said as he crashed the gone once more before walking away

Katie quickly grabbed Zane's hands and helped him out of the floor
"Ugh! This place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up" Kai complained

"Unless we put more than our backs into it, huh?" Jay said as he added a wink at the end and the ninjas knew what he meant

First up was cleaning a room that was packed with useless objects and cobwebs but Cole had the covered
"Ninja go!" He spun around the room as he collected the useless objects and took them outside and placed them in a pile with a sign that says 'Garage sale'

Next up was a room that barely had any light and was kind dark in it but thankfully Katie got that fixed up
She jumped into the dark room with her tessens out
"This is gonna be good. Ninja go!" She flung both of her tessens in the air as they created a physical light wave that went around the room and instantly light flew into the room
