Shassie one shots

Headache

It's a nice warm sunny day in Santa Barbara, the birds are chirping and people are walking around with ice cream comes in their hands. But Carlton Lassiter and Juliet O'hara won't be going anywhere in the warm sun for awhile because they have a meeting with the chief about a really  important murder case.

"Detectives! I will see you now" Chief Karen Vick calls from her office.

 Juliet and Carlton give each give each other encouraging looks because this case could be the most important case the police department will ever have in the detectives' lifetime. They walk into the chiefs office side by side and take a seat on the bluesish green cushioned chairs in front of the chiefs desk. Chief Vick handed a tan colored folder to Lassiter that has every single detail they have found about this murder investigation. 

"Alright. Now as we all know the woman who was murdered was Cynthia Monrowe, a very well respected and might i add very rich secret agent. The place she was-" Vick was cut off by a ringing coming from somewhere.

 Juliet and the Chief looked at Lassiter both wearing annoyed looks on their faces. It took Lassiter a minute to realize that it was his phone that was ringing. Lassiter very quickly pulled out his phone and looked at the caller ID. He mentally groaned in annoyance but Lassie has to take it now or else his boyfriend won't stop calling until Lassiter does answer. 

"I'll be right back" Lassie told them walking out the door of the chiefs office and down the hall to somewhere more quiet. Very annoyed Lassiter hit the button on the phone to start the call. 

"Hey Lassie-" 

"Shawn! I am in a very important meeting right now!" Lassiter practically yelled through the phone so his boyfriend could hear him loud and clear. 

"Geez dude I was just calling to tell you that me and Gus are on our way to the police station" Shawn explained sounding super relaxed. Lassiter wished that he could feel as relaxed as Shawn sounded but with this new case, it isn't going to happen soon, unless he is having a heated make out session with Shawn but that's besides the point. 

"Why do you need to call me to tell me that?" Lassiter asked confused. His boyfriend is very outgoing and always comes into the department unannounced making a big scene. At first it used to bother lassiter but then it became sort of fun to watch. 

"I don't know" Shawn replied forgetting why he called his boyfriend when he is only five minutes away.

"Well, Im busy right-" 

"I got it! I was just telling you that i went and grabbed my shirt from your house and then possibly stole some of your food" Shawn told Lassiter in a serious but fun talking tone. Before Shawn could say anything more Lassiter ended the call and still very annoyed shoved it back in his pocket. 

After about one to two minutes of just standing there Lassiter finally came into his right mind and started walking back to Chief Vick's office where she is probably waiting for him. Lassiter walked right into the office and sat down not really paying attention to the annoyed and curious looks the chief and Juliet were giving him. As he was listening to Chief Vick continue talking about this super duper important case, Lassiter started massaging the bridge of his nose. 

"Carlton are you okay?" Juliet asks worry clearly evident in her voice. Lassiter looked up and found that the chief and Juliet were both staring at him with confusion and worry on their faces. 

"Im fine i just have this headache that comes and goes" Lassiter told them in an almost serious tone (almost). Juliet gives him a nod and Chief Vick looks back down at her desk thinking of the what she was talking about before. Not long after Lassiter spoke, Shawn walked into the room wearing a bandana and eating one of Lassiter's special homemade lemon cookies. Lassiter groans as he sees his boyfriend walk into the office knowing what was coming. 

"What is it Carlton?" Chief Vick asks

"He's my headache" Lassiter replies pointing at Shawn who was still in the doorway.
