Chapter 11 - Cave Of Memories

         
    Lea woke up slowly as the sunlight hit her face. Jake was sleeping on top of her, making a suffocate slightly. She tried to push him but failed miserably.

She looked around, and saw she was still in the same place. Lea shook Jake saying, " wake up! Why are you not letting me go!". He grunted and held on to her tighter. " ok...i have to really get up.. My back is aching from sleeping in the rough ground!" Lea said groaning.

Jake mumbled something and sat up groaning, shaking his hair away from his face. He slowly got up, looking around and taking the map from his pocket. Slowly the map started shifting and the map of the forest appeared. It started zooming closer and closer to a cave and next to the cave words started appearing. Jake sighed and said, " seems like our next stop is the cave of memories..."

Lea POV...

   Me and Jake had been walking for more than an hour. My legs felt numb. I could not hold the pain, and time to time a groan escapes from my mouth.

Our surroundings were were full of thick, green trees. Sunlight was pouring like waterfalls through he gap of the trees.

" oh God.. We reached it.." Jake whispered. I turned to the place where Jake was looking at and, in front of me was an ancient looking cave.

We stood in front of the cave looking, around to see if it was safe. " Ok this is our next stop.. Just don't make too much noise and stick with me, and no worries, I have light." Jake said smirking as he slowly lifted his hand up. Suddenly his hand was lit up with his fire powers. I just rolled my eyes and said, " pff.. Show off.. " and started walking inside.

In he corner of my eye I saw Jake trying to cover a laugh." what's so funny fire boy?" I said turning around to face him. He raised his hands up and said, "no! Nothing.. No problems here... Cup cake" he said with a giggle. " oh rea- AAH! " " THUD".  Before I could complete my sentence a huge rock above my head got free and started falling.

Before it could, crash on me, a hand yanked my arm pulling me away from where I was, standing. It was Jake's hand... His hand which was still lit on fire.. "AAHH! FIRE! YOUR HAND! I AM, GONNA BECOME A BURNT CRISPY HUMAN!" I shrieked with all my might.

He quickly took his hand away fr my arm and fell down laughing so hard. He slowly got up holding his tummy. " ok ok stop.. Let's get going! We dont have s-" and again a small thud interrupted me." why am I always getting interru-" Jake quickly placed his hands in my mouth, shushing me. He pointed at the distance, and there were ribbons of blue and red lights floatimg and gliding around.

We ran to the light and entered a huge cavern. In the cavern a shimmering pool of dazzling  water. The ribbons of light slowly surrounded us, as it danced elegantly.

" where are we? What is this?" I whispered. " you are in the cave of memories...find out what is your past.. But beware of going deeper. Secrets cannot be taken at once.." said a voice. It was an ancient and ocean deep voice.

Jake looked around and said," how do we find the past? ". I shook my head and said," I have no idea..." and before I could finish what I said, he pool started shimmering brightly. Words started appearing.

Jake and I slowly went, closer to read what has appeared. " oh seeker, if your past is hidden, touch the waters with free and open minds. But only some secrets can be revealed, while the others shall be wrapped up. When the time comes you shall find the rest or never find it.".

I looked at Jake wondering if should I touch it or not." together " Jake whispered. And slowly Jake and I kneeled down. Our hands only inches apart from the water." one.. Two.. Thre- AAAAAAAHHHHH!! "
