As we walk down the dormitory hallway, I notice how empty all the room are. A woman passes by.

Excuse me, whats going on? I ask.

Oh we're just gathering up the adoptee's stuff and turning it into ash." she says sweetly.

Ash?" I say unsurly.

We're burning it." She says with pep.

My eyes widen. I push her aside and run down the hall to my room. I look inide it was empty. I look down the hall and see a woman pushing a basket down it. I run to her.

Excuse me whose stuff is this?" I ask.

This is Peytons. She says. Why?"

I'm looking for Lace breakings stuff."I say frantically.

Oh its in line to burn." she says.

I don't even thank her, I run down the hall to the burn room. I burst in the room. I look through he heat resistant window.

My pictures with tori are right in front of me. I punch the glass. I keep hitting it until I shatter the small area. I put my hand in the shattered glass and grab my box of old poloroid photos. I sit against the wall for a few seconds before Tori comes running in.

Lace WHAT THE HELL!?!?" she yells at me. Jane, Joey and Alec stand in the doorway.

Alec has a devilish smirk on his face.

Him." I say through my teeth quietly.I get up quickly. Alec stil has a smirk on his face. I walk over to him grab him by his shoulder and slam him into the wall on the oppisite side of the hallway.

Why would you do that?!" I yell in his face. My wings explode from my back ripping my jacket and shirt from my body.

WHY?!" I yell once again.

What did I do,Lace?" He ask sarcastically.

You know!" I say. I raise my hand to hit him. He turns his head and squeezes his eyes close. I cant hit him. I wont allow myself to even though this bastard deserved. All My rage forces me to punch, I slam my hard against the wall next to his face. My fist goes through until I cant take the pain. I release him and he runs to his mom.

Lace!!!" Tori yells. Im so sorry I dont know why he' ac-" I cut her off. I turn to them.

YOU know exactly why!" I yell. Because I'm going to have to leave you here, And im going to live a life you never got and Im going to miss you."

My eyes well up with tears I wipe my face with my bloody hand. I don't want them to see my cry, I turn and run down the hall to my room. I slam the door. I sit against it. I sit there crying a few minute. Then there's a soft knock on the door.

May I come in?" His voice says on the other side of the door. It's Alec I want to aplologise." I stand up and unlock the door.

I let him in. He walks in and I lock the door again.

Where's Tori and your parents?" I ask. They went to the parent leader confrence." he says. I turn and walk toward him. He backs into a corner and I keep him there.

If you wanna hurt me go ahead I deserve it I just wanna say Im really sorry I didnt know it would hurt you." He says quickly looking me straight in the eyes.

I look at his fearful face. My face was only inches from his. We both breathe heavily from being so enclosed. I lean closer into his face. I could feel his lips brushing mine.

You're forgiven." I say. But don't ever tr-" He cuts me off. His soft face touching mine as he kisses me. I was so confused. I try and pry his face from mine but he holds my head in place with his. He was stronger than me.

He tried to hide it but I could see through him he was just trying to get my attention just trying to get me alone. I give in. He holds head in place twisting his fingers in my hair.

After a long kiss he lets loose. He lets his hands fall to his sides. That when I notice my hands were on his lower back. I back away from him. He looks at his feet as if he was embarressed. He heads for the door. I walk and stand against it.
