In the lab

The two and a half months of being in the lab when Bucky was forced to go threw tests and every day Grace would try to make them stop and try to break the glass to get to him when they dragged him off even though she would die if she did since she couldnt breath air or so thats what other people thought as well as them. Bucky was in alot of pain and grace had her hands on the glass waitting for him to sit up so they could talk but he was in so much pain he couldnt. So she started to do morese code so he didnt have to sit up to see what she wrote. She couldnt bare seeing him in pain and when the doctors came back she wasnt about to let him go not without breaking the glass first. They opened the door and quickly charged at the glass not making a dent in it do to the chains on her tail but she did it again and a small crack apeared.

"Shes going break free!" A man yelled as they had bucky by his arms.

"Grace don't do it!" He yelled as the chains brook from the bottom of the tank and she hit the glass so hard it cracked even more. She looked at the men that had him angerly then a trap quickly caught her before she could have tried to get away.

"Take him," a doctor ordered as he watched helplessly as the trap was lowered on to the the ground and she was thrashing around inside of it and banging on the sides a doctor grabbed a long needle and Bucky started to panic.

"Dont touch her she doesnt understand!" Bucky yelled as the trap opened and half of the water started pooring out on the floor and two guards pinned her down while another held her tail down as she thrashed around trying to get away from them. He could hear screaming as she would get her head above water for a second or two before being forced down.

"Let her go!" He screamed as the doctor qickly injected her and she slowly stoped thrashing around.

"Its quite odd for a man of your stature try to protect a creature that isnt even human," the doctor said as bucky thought she was gone now. His heart sank as the water around her stoped glowing around her. He couldn't belive she broke free. He didnt want her to get hurt by them but her very exsistence must have been hard since she couldnt touch another person or even be in the same room really since she had to be in water.

"Because you never a chance to be human and I did, she has a mind of a child!" Bucky yelled angerly.

"Run some tests on her and fix her tank, we need to see how she is growing," he informed as the trap was closed and halled away.

Bucky tried fighting to get back so they wouldnt hurt her but the doctor punched him in the stomach hard.

"Don't make this harder then it has to be or we will do the same tests on you that they are going to do to her. At least she has a 50 50 shot of surving them," he chuckled as he couldnt imagine what they were going to do to her.

"What are you going to do to her?!" Bucky growled as the doctor smerked.

"How would you like to be a father?" He asked as buckys mouth dropped. No! they wouldnt do that to her!  Would they?

"I would never touch her like that she's a kid!" Bucky yelled.

"Not if you were in the right mind, take her out of the water and throw her in a cell. I think its time to teach her how to be human. Whip his memeory and when she is done throw him in with her and sse what he does, if she does kill him she dies," he smerked as bucky started to panic. He couldnt do that to her! He loved her so much and she loved him sure but she was so innocent and didnt know what anything really was. She didnt even know how her own body worked.

Steve paused the video quickly as he didnt know if he could finish the video. They knew all along she had legs but she was getting sick and bucky was the only one that could make her well again so they kept him the way he was for a while.

He looked up from the tablet to see Bucky and grace laughing as she was trying new foods like lemons and Bucky was dying laughing as she was making a face because of it.

"I dont understand why people like these!" She spat as she put the lemon in the trash.

"Well they put them in drinks I was going to tell you but you stuck it in your mouth trying to eat it," he chuckled as she was very confused still.

Steve didnt know if he should show his best friend this tape at all. He would never get over the fact that he hurt her and maybe she didnt remember it or she did but wasnt going to say anything about it because she really loves him.

"Okay how about an orange I think you might like this," he said as he started to peel it and she looked at him oddly.

"Why are you doing that? Aren't they like apples?" She asked.

"Actually no they aren't you have to peel them because the skin tastes gross," he said as he handed her the peeled orange and she split it in half to share with him.

Steve could see a huge diffrence in him. He really liked it that he was smiling and laughing with her and really didnt want him to watch himself hurting her if he did.
