Chapter 2 - Trust

A/N Hey guys! Back with another chapter! Sorry it's this late, I've been distracted all of today. This one has more action outside of Ciel and Sebastian... and a tad bit of implied sexual content. I just wanna let you know that while this chapter doesn't have much of either one of these ships (the latter is vaguely mentioned once) I do ship Sagni (Soma x Agni) and FinRoyRin (Finny x Mey-rin x Bardroy) and I think they're both so cute <3. I did some research and it turns out Finny's like 16 and Bard is like 30-40?! So Finny's aged up to early 20's with Mey-Rin and Bard is aged down to his 30's. Anyway, hope you enjoy this chapter! I also just realized I forgot to include Snake... woops.

It had been a year after Ciel and Elizabeth got married and the earl didn't know why he wanted to tell the Agni, Soma, and the servants about him and Sebastian. The idea had struck him in the middle of the night, on a weekend when Lizzy was away visiting Edward and the rest of her close family. It was nights like these that he and Sebastian were able to be... err... more in contact. At midnight on a Saturday ("My lord, we should not engage in these ways at this time of night, it is past your bedtime" "Sebastian I swear to god-") the two lay on the mattress, tangled in each other's arms and nearing sleep (Sebastian had tried it once and was now addicted) when Ciel blurted it out.

"I want to tell the servants about this" the demon choked on air, eyes widening as he looked at the earl as if he were going mad. "Them and Soma and Agni, please. I know it's dangerous but I... I really love them and..." Ciel's eyes started to gloss over. The earl was prone to showing more emotion, around his demon especially, the older he got. Maybe it was because all the trauma and violence he had witnessed that made him begin to go soft. He still had yet to sob, and the butler was sure that he had run out of tears.

Sebastian's eyes softened and he held his lover tighter, cradling his face in his hands and tracing words on his cheek. "I'll go along with anything you say, my lord. But... you have to understand the consequences if even one of them doesn't approve. They might tell Lady Elizabeth or a visitor or even the Queen and...Well before that happens we might just have a dangerous accident in the mansion that causes us to lose most of our faculty and the visiting Indians" Ciel was silent, but nodded nevertheless, praying (but not really because... well, you know) that nothing would happen so that they wouldn't have to go to that extent. "Master" Ciel looked up "I love them too"

A soft smile blossomed on the blunette's lips "I know"

Ciel was this close to having a mental breakdown due to the high levels of anxiety rudely interrupting his day. Prince Soma and his butler always came to stay when Lizzy was away ("You can't be all alone in this house for an entire weekend! You'll get tired of your servants!") And Sebastian had gathered everyone in the kitchen after breakfast. The servants had come in worried for their master, unsure what was going on that had him so riled up.

"Young master? What's wrong?" Mey-rin held herself back from going closer to the earl. While she knew that the blunette could crave physical affection quite needily at times, it could also bring back some horrible flashbacks similar (but not nearly as traumatic) as the one's in Germany. The maid had grown more and more fond of the bluenette as the years went by, now having somewhat of a motherly attachment to her master.

Ciel bit his lip, nervously digging his nails into his arms, not even noticing the blood starting to spur until Sebastian had gently brought his hands down to his sides and given his bocchan a comforting nod of encouragement.

"I'msortofinlovewithSebastianandhekindoflovesmetooandIreallytrustyouallandwantyoutoknowaboutusbecauseyourallsospecialtomeyouhavenoideapleasedon'ttellanyone" it all came out in a breath, and the blunette sort of hoped that no one understood what he had just sputtered because of how much that was admitted that wasn't meant to be. There was a moment of silence in which Tanaka sipped his hot water (tea? Lemonade? Honestly what was in there) before the room erupted into chaos and Sebastian moved to cover his lovers ears.

Soma looked like he had just uncovered the universe's secrets and was jumping up and down while yelling incoherent things too Agni. Said butler was simply nodding along to the Prince's words while scanning the room with a look that could only be described as "Wait, did no one else know this?". Mey-rin looked like she was having her third existential crisis this week while Finny and Bard were bombarding Ciel and Sebastian with questions.

"Please quiet down, our poor master has sensitive ears and can't hear any of you" the raven-haired man said, quieting down the crowd.

"I do not! My ears can take much louder noises than a few rats squeaking, thank you very much!"

"Oh really? The next time your whining about how loud we're being while getting rid of our intrudes, remember this"

"I can see it now" Finny chirped, nodding his head as Ciel and Sebastian snapped towards his voice. "But I do have a few questions if you don't mind my lord" Ciel huffed, cheeks red as he nodded for the blonde to continue. "How long?"

"I guess I've loved Sebastian since he found me. I knew he shared my feelings a few years later but we both refused to act on it until a few months before my seventeenth birthday because of my age and this idiot may be a creep but he's not going to snog a thirteen-year-old"

"Does anyone else know?"

"No"

"Are you going to tell anyone else?"

"Most likely: no"

"What about Lady Elizabeth"

Ciel froze at that question, eyes softening with something that resembled sadness. He felt Sebastian tense behind him. "While I do care for her, I do not love her, or, I do not love girls. Yet, I still need to provide an heir to the Phantomhive legacy, and I am afraid Lizzy was the one signed up for the job since birth" the room went quiet, a few nods coming from each person before Ciel cleared his throat and spoke up. "And you... you all. What do you think of it... of us... of Sebastian and I?"

Soma let out a squeal, interrupting Bard as the chef started to speak "You are both so adorableeee! Ciel, I'm so happy for you! Agni told me you two might be... but after the wedding, I was a bit doubtful and then... eeekk! I can't wait for your children!"

Agni let out a laugh "Yes, we are both very happy for you. And we understand that this is a secret we both must keep to protect the both of you. But... my prince obviously hasn't exactly been paying attention during his lessons"

Bard let out a deep chuckle, grinning at his master. 
"I'll admit, it wasn't something I expected, but if you're okay with it, then I am!"

Finny nodded along "Yeah! I see no problem with it as long as no one else finds out. Oh! Once, Mey-rin, Bard, and I even-" the chef slammed a hand over the younger boy's mouth, laughing nervously with a cherry-red face as he asked for the maid's opinion.

"... yes, I'll admit, it isn't the most common thing and it definitely caught me by surprise but... as long as you're happy, the both of you, I'm happy for you" Mey-rin smiled, adjusting her glasses and after a moment of hesitation, launched herself towards the bluenette, wrapping him in a hug. The other servants (as well as Soma and Agni) soon joined in, strangling their friend and squealing happy things into his ears. The earl unintentionally melted into the touch, then tried to squirm out of the pile of friends, yelling at everyone to get off and nO TANAKA NOT YOU TOO.

And as Sebastian chuckled slightly at the view before him, he felt a soft smile melt onto his face because everything was going to be alright. "Sebastian! Get in here" someone (Bard?) grabbed the butler's wrist and dragged him into the pile of hugging humans that were now all lying on the floor. Yes, everything would be just fine.

A/N jeez this is 1.4K+ words... again. Almost 1.5K lol. Oh well, I actually thought (when I was writing it) that it would be 500-800 words or something but... it definitely was not.
