Sky's Pick: Mind Captive by @thewritingwizardya
Blurb: Seventeen-year-old Shay has only ever wanted two things: to be with Kels, and to please her masters. When she and Kels are separated, Shay tries to be the good obedient servant she's always been. But the only way to reunite with Kels is to do the unthinkable--defy the Riven.
It's impossible. Nothing is hidden from them.
Not when they can read minds.
Losing Shay causes Kels's world to careen out of control. He finds himself spiraling into a violent world where the Riven's depraved treatments are constantly on display and Kels doesn't know how long he'll survive. And yet, even in the darkest of places a spark of beauty awaits.
Unless the Riven takes that away from him too.
Why Recommended:
I reviewed this book for another community and honestly, I fell in love with it. Despite the professionalism of the review, I genuinely enjoyed reading the story. It was captivating and I think it deserves a lot more recognition than it has.

Naomi's Pick: Connor's Last Wish by @Jay-Elizabeth
Blurb: After reading a letter from someone she has never met, Gemma Moreno is offered a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change her life forever. Torn between accepting an offer she knows she will never be able to repay, Gemma needs to decide if it is worth the risk and finally leave her troubled past behind.
Why Recommended:
This story was one of my favourite ONC entries. There were many good ones, but this one particularly stood out to me. It made me laugh and cry out loud. It made me feel for Gemma and root for her. It had such fantastic characterization, along with a very strong plot. I highly recommend this!

Dahlia's Pick: Seven by @Nyaneve
Blurb: One man - determined to save...
G Raghuveera Rao is a man of principles and honour. A man of integrity and valour. A man now desperate enough to make a deal with the Devil himself, if that is what it takes to save his son.
One favour - destroy to save...
The Devil has no use for Raghuveera's soul, though he does want his skills. And hence places a different kind of deal on the table.
One End - disastrous...
Raghuveera Rao takes up the deal. Battling his growing unease and grappling with gradual loss of his morality, he realises that no deal with the Devil is straightforward and that the price demanded might not be worth the deal.
Why Recommended:
While I haven't read all of it yet, I can tell you that this book immediately gripped me. The narrative of the main character and details of his family drew me in whether or not I shared his or his family's belief system. In addition to this, Seven showcases the Hindi (Hindu? Please correct me if I'm wrong!) god system and shows care in the research done for this.
If you love some compelling description, excellent character building, and a pinch of philosophy, give this a read!

The Watty's season is coming up and this account has been offering free and/or paid critics to help the Wattpad Writing Community; whether you plan on entering or not. Their services have been extremely great so far, though I have yet to request for one, but a few of my friends have and the feedback has been great!
