Maureen glanced at her surroundings by the moment she came inside. If she was already flabbergasted upon the glimpse of her house from its outside view, how much more when she went inside?
When she did, she felt as if she entered another universe.
From the interior up to the furniture, it screamed nothing but comfort. Various shades can be seen from every corner, ranging from light gray walls and white floors.
Yuan couldn't help but be flustered upon his fiancée's strange actions.
Her doctor made it clear that she isn't suffering from retrograde amnesia yet why does it seem like she's not used to her surroundings? Why is she acting as if she forgot everything?
Yuan shook his head and chose not to approach her with the hopes of not stressing her even more. "Make yourself comfortable."
Maureen turned her head and pretended to smile. "I will."
"I'll leave you here muna. You can roam around if you want. I'll just go get changed." He replied curtly and made his way upstairs.

She also couldn't help but notice the two portraits that hung delicately against the wall.
She squinted her eyes with the hopes of having a better view. After doing so, she had her mouth agape upon realizing that the portraits contained pictures of them–of her and Yuan.

She tried touching the picture to see if it's real and winced upon feeling its rough texture. Yes, it is indeed real.
