Chapter 19

The four of them change and go to the beach. Arti and Khushi arrange sitting area on the sand. They had got a picnic basket which they put down. Everyone eat some snacks from the picnic basket
Khushi as usual starts her blabbering about how beautiful the beach is. She looks at Rishab who is smiling. She thinks,'Yeh toh abhi thik lagraha hai. He seems happy now..I will talk to him later.' Arti 6says,"Khanna pina hogaya ho toh lets hit the waters.." Sachin smiles and says,"My dear Wife, khana complete but pina raat ko hoga..he..he.." Arti hits him on his back and says,"No..not today..kaka is here..Please Rishi tell him." Before Rishi could say anything, Sachin says,"Nobody can stop me today. Kaka does not stay in the main house and you know that..We will have a campfire at the backyard where no body will be present." Khushi is clueless about what is going on but she gets excited hearing about campfire. She says,"Wow bada mazza ayega..Haye I love campfire..We used to have them in Kasauli."

Sachin and Rishab together get into the waves. Khushi stands on the shore, dipping her feet into the waves coming towards her. Sachin comes out and calls Khushi to join them. She shakes her head to say no and smiles. He pulls Arti along with him inside. Rishab has removed his shirt and is wearing a vest. Khushi looks at him and thinks,'Wow, look at his biceps..He is looking hot..' Sachin again calls Khushi,"C'mon Khushi, have you come to the beach to just dip your feet in the sea? Come inside the waves. It will be fun..come na.." Khushi replies,"Mujhe daar lagraha hai..I can't come..you enjoy." Arti tells Rishab,"Arey Rishi you go na and bring her in. She is scared of waves..You hold her hands, she will come with you. Go." Rishab gets out of the water and goes towards Khushi. He gives his hand and says,"Come with me. Hold my hand." Khushi shakes her head and says,"Nahi, I am scared of these waves. I 'll drown in the water, I don't know how to swim." Rishab holds her her and pulls her towards him,"I said na come with me." Khushi stares at him and slowly follows him. As they go little deep, she starts panicking and cries,"Amma..mein marjaungi aaj..Haye meri toh ab tak shadi bhi nahi hui.." Rishab smiles and just then a wave comes. Khushi closes her eyes and shouts,"Amma.." Rishab holds her by her waist and pulls her closer. Khushi holds his shoulder tightly. Rishab whispers into her ear,"I will never let anything happen to you. Trust me." Khushi looks at him right into his eyes. Their body is so close to each other but there is no awkwardness. They are so comfortable and Khushi feels secure in his strong arms. Sachin and Arti look at them and he cheers. They enjoy in the water for quite sometime.

After lunch, the four of them go out on the jeep for the sight seeing. As Khushi is new to the place, they take her to see some other beaches and the fort nearby. They enjoy the beautiful sunset on the beach. Rishab is standing in the shore, his bare feet dipped in the water. He is lost in the thoughts. Khushi, Sachin and Arti are sitting on beach benches sipping coconut water. Khushi runs over to Rishab and taps on his shoulder. He turns to find Khushi looking at him with a big grin on her face. He asks,"What happened?" Khushi excitedly says,"I just remembered the book written by Ranvir Malhotra, 'Love will Last Forever. The protagonists Sahil and Devika meet on a beach like this." Rishab says,"So?" Khushi tilting her head, bites her lips and says,"We are now friends na. And friends don't keep secrets. Right??" Rishab not getting where the conversation is leading towards asks,"Yes, I guess..What is going on??" Khushi still biting her lips says,"Well I am a very big, I mean the biggest fan of Ranvir Malhotra. And..I have heard that only you know who he is..So..tell me about him please.." Rishab just looks at her and doesn't respond. Khushi keeps on asking him,"See we are friends and you told me to trust you. I trusted you na..Now It's your turn trust me I won't tell anybody. But PLEASE tell me.. tumko meri kasam..."Rishab finds Khushi so cute that he pulls her towards him by putting his arms around her neck. He gently kisses her head and then let's her go. Khushi holds his shirt with her both hands and asks,"Bolona??" Rishab replies,"You are a mad girl. From beach, your mind went to the storyline in the book and from that you went on to Ranvir..Okay.. You want to know who is Ranvir Malhotra..Well I am Ranvir Malhotra. HAPPY??" Khushi leaves his shirt angrily and turns away,"Nahi bolna hai, mat bolo..If you are Ranvir Malhotra then I am Katrina Kaif." Rishab burst into laughter and pulls Khushi from her neck into his arms. Khushi cries,"Aaaa chod mujhe.." and she pushes him. Rishab somehow controls his laughter and tells her,"Okay. You don't believe it. Then what should I tell you. I can't say anybody's name. Hmm...Can you believe that I have signed a confidentiality agreement with him?? Can't say anything about him or else I 'll be taken to court. Now what should I tell you." Khushi angrily looks at him. Rishab smiling says,"You want me to get arrested??" Khushi with an angry face, shakes her head to say no. Rishab smiles and says,"You try to find out yourself then. I won't stop you. Okay?? Now lets go." He takes her towards the bench where Sachin and Arti are sitting.

They return to the farmhouse and prepare for the campfire. Rishab is outside near the pool arranging the wood in the fire pit. Sachin comes out with a ice box, smiling at Rishab says,"Bhai aaj full enjoyment." Rishab smiles and says,"You just need a reason to drink. Arti is going to kill you if you drink too much. Remember that.." Sachin replies,"Relax yaar, Arti won't say anything today." Just then Arti and Khushi come out. Khushi is looking absolutely stunning in a nice knee length dress. Rishab can't take his eyes off from her. Khushi can feel his eyes on her and she looks up at him. Their eyes meet and they both smile at each other.
