Chapter 42

Rishab meets Khushi outside the Khurana house. Khushi comes running towards him. She gets into his arms and kisses him on his cheek. She keeps on kissing his face, saying,"I missed you my Kullu, my gullu, my bebu.." Rishab is laughing by now and says,"Okay I get it, you missed me, now bas karo..Your father will come out and see us." Khushi says,"Haye, mein thodina darti hun kisise, I am kissing my fiancè." Rishab looks at the door and says," Namste uncleji.." Khushi leaves him and says,"I am not doing anything baba. Rishab say na something.. " Khushi turns to find no one standing and Rishab starts laughing. Khushi grunts and chases after him saying," I will kill you..You ..liar.." Rishab holds her hand after sometime and forcefully hugs her. He kisses her on her lips and says,"Kyun tum toh kisise nahi darti thi..What happened?" Just then his phone rings and he picks up. From the other side, he hears a voice saying,"So you are getting married. Fine. You will not only loose your company but also her." And he hears a gun shot and sees Khushi falling down. He runs to hold her, saying," No...No.. no...no.. please no..nothing will happen to you Khushi..Please someone call ambulance.." Rishab starts crying and Khushi says," Why did you let me die? I trusted you..I hate you.." And Rishab wakes up with a jolt crying," NO.."

Rishab is breathing heavily and is sweating profusely. He quickly gets his phone and calls Khushi. After a long ring, she picks up and talks in sleepy tone. She says,"He..ll..oo..problem kya hai..itne raat ko call kartein hai..who is this?" Rishab takes a sigh of relief and says,"Khushi, its me. Rishab. Sorry to disturb your sleep baby." Khushi smiles thinking that he must be missing her so he called so late. She says," So..rr..y bebu..I was in sleep. What happened? You are missing me or what." Rishab says," Yes, baby I am missing you..You are okay right?" Khushi replies,"Yes. But I was angry, you were not picking my call. That bitch had come na? What did she say? You threw her out right." Rishab wiping his face and eyes says,"Relax baby..Yes, I threw her out. You go to sleep. I will call you in the morning." Khushi says,"muahh..good night kissi for you..sojao baby..bye."

But Rishab can't sleep anymore. His life's most precious elements are at stake. He can neither risk the life of Khushi nor he can let the company get out of his hands. He can't loose any of them. He has to find a way out of this mess. The mess that he has created with his own two hands. Why he fell into her trap so easily? Why?

Rishab calls Sachin, first thing in the morning. After a few rings, he picks up and says,"What Bhai Itni subha subha call? It's me Sachin not Khushi. Did you call me by mistake?" Rishab replies," Sachin, I need to talk to you. It's urgent." Sachin finding his voice serious, replies," Mein ayun wahan?" Rishab immediately says," No. Not here and not at your house as well. I am going to Colour's office. We will meet there."

Sachin arrives at his office to find Rishab already sitting in his room. Sachin gives him a hug and sitting beside him says," What happened? You sounded serious." Rishab tells him everything that had happened the previous night. Running his hand into his hair, he says," I really don't understand how I will get out of this mess. She is blackmailing me to leave Khushi." Sachin replies," Why is she doing that? What will she get?" Rishab looks at him and says," Apparently she wants me in pain, destroyed and broken. Why I have absolutely no idea?" Sachin says," Then let's find out." Rishab asks," What do you mean?" Sachin says,"Baba is here. I am going to him now. You need to speak to your father first. We need his help."

Rishab comes out the office when his phone rings. He picks up and hears the excited voice of Khushi. She says," Love you..love you..love you.." A smile appears on his face, inspite of being in such stress. He says,"What has happened? So happy why?" Khushi says," Baba is ready for our marriage. But he wants to talk to you first. You come now." Rishab does not reply for a second and giving out a deep breath says," Nice..But I can't come right now. I have some meetings. Viky's book will be released too. I have meetings with PRs too." Khushi says," But....Okay fine. I will meet you at the office then." Rishab immediately says," No. Don't come to office today. Please you just stay at home." Khushi is confused, she says," Pagal ho gaye ho? I took two days off from office now I can't take anymore. I should come now." Rishab says," Please sweetheart, You don't worry. Listen to me please. Don't go out of the house today. Stay with your father. I will meet him in the evening."
