" THE SKIRMISH "

A few days later, on the break of dawn, the police department was unusually active with police officers moving to and from, getting their equipment or documents ready. Ellis called Chief Cathy to inform her about what she had found out regarding Henry and Chief Cathy used her authority rights to accept her back into the Police Department with reasons of having reliable lead to the serious investigation.

After Ellis took care of Henry until he's in good condition, she brought him to the police department building to be interrogated, albeit never roughly as she does not want the boy to have a panic attack.

Luckily, Henry could answer all their simple questions despite his memories being at times hazy. Still, they respect the boy and treated him with care, because he's doing all he can so that they could save his friends. But, they could still not find the location of the Dark Organization.

Henry said that every time they went out to do jobs, they'll be put inside a minivan with no windows; it's the same as when they went back to the horrid place. The police officers was at lost at what to do at the moment, because the location of the organization is crucial, in order to capture the bad guys, they need to know exactly where they are.

During the stagnant moment, Ellis suddenly barged into the interrogating room carrying multiple large sized pictures with her, surprising the people inside. Before the police officer could start questioning her, Ellis showed the picture to Henry one by one asking whether he recognize any of the places. After going through the few, the police officer started giving up, saying that he can't see the building so how can he even remember how it looks like. But then a miracle happen, the boy recognizes a picture of an old abandoned warehouse situated not far from the forbidden forest, he describe the usual leafy smell and the sounds of loud howling that came from the forbidden forest.

And so the police squad assembles, they called themselves 'Avengers', much to Henry's confusion, Ellis's amusement and Chief Cathy's slight disappointment.

The sky was blue when the police squad arrived at the location, and slowly but surely, they infiltrated the inside of the warehouse and were shocked by the condition. Although it looks shabby on the outside, it's very clean and modem looking on the inside, 'It seems the leader of this dark organization have good taste' thought a few police officers.

Right when they've started searching for the victims, the dark organization member all came out with guns in their hands and started shooting on sight.

The fight has begun.

Luckily for the police officers, the gang members do not know how to use a gun properly, and they couldn't even aim, it seems that all they know about is doing bad deeds and have zero skills. The squad took that as an opportunity to subdue them quickly and that's what they did, the casualties were less than what they expected but the leader was still not found.

Ellis and Chief Cathy had a minor discussion with each other, if they are the leader who's greedy and smart but smart but nevertheless greedy as fish whose main importance is using money to make everything look good, where would they locate their room at? Slowly they look towards the door in the middle of the warehouse on the second floor that was covered with a big sticker that reads 'I'm so rich and I know it'.

Ellis then said to Chief Cathy, "I am a 100% sure it's that room", to which the chief replied "Yeah, me too, wonder where they bought that sticker from..."

And so they ran upstairs towards the room with Buno following behind after it tripped an organization member who's running away. The moment they barged into the room, they are shocked to find a too clean floor and a twirling man holding a radio to his ears.

Buno gave a loud bark to get his attention and the man stopped immediately, slowly turning around with a frown and furrowed eyebrows.

"Who are you?" asked the man.

"Your worst nightmare" said Ellis before she started aiming her gun towards the man, "Hold your hands up in the air where I can see you, I am police officer Ellis and this is Chief Cathy, you are arrested because of being wanted for the various crimes you committed"

"The leader has been found, I repeat, the leader has been found! Call all police squad; we're going to raid the place down. Find all the captured victims and bring them to safety-" Chief Cathy said through her walkie talkie as she head back outside the room seeing that Ellis has the situation inside under control. Her biggest mistake ever, leaving a partner with a criminal.

The moment she turned around, the criminal threw the radio towards Ellis who pushed it away with her hands but lost her focus at the same time. He took that opportunity to kick her gun away and lunged towards her, Ellis who have good reflexes, evade him and tried to stable herself .

Ellis went after him on the opposite side of the desk her back facing the large window, only for him to jump on the desk still facing her, teasing while smiling crazily, "You can't catch me~"

In anger, Ellis picked up a stray gun that's on the table beside her, but it was too late as Hain kicked her on her stomach, hard, making her fall backwards shattering the window and fell from the second floor.

Chief Cathy turned back around in shock when she heard the shatter; Buno immediately lunged towards the crazy man and bit his leg, making the man fall down from the desk. The chief hurriedly shot the man on his leg to make sure he won't stand up again and went towards the now shattered window.

She looked over and called for Ellis but received no response; luckily, a few police officers were downstairs and heard the crash, went to oversee the situation. Chief Cathy yelled at one of them to examine Ellis, after the person checked, they said that she's still alive but the impact was too serious, it's hard to know for sure whether she had any internal injuries .

Feeling furious, Chief Cathy faced the groaning man on the ground, Buno was still growling at the man for doing that to Ellis but he didn't go any further because no one gave him the permission to do so and as a police dog, he knows his limits.

Sensing the rage in the dog's eyes while feeling it herself, Chief Cathy looked around to see no one present and went towards Buno, crouching beside him, she whispered,

"Bite him till he bleeds Buno"

To which Bunoresponded with a loud bark.
