Exiting Chargestone Cave, Pink arrives in Mistralton City. When she enters the Poke Center,A man aproaches her.
"Oh! It's you! You must be Pink!! Can I take a quick look at your Pokédex?
Pink: (confused) umm...ok (gives man her pokedex)
"Hm, yes...Oh! And you've found Klink?! You're quite the Trainer! Oops, I'm sorry! I got a little overexcited there. My name's Cedric Juniper but you can call me Cedric.My daughter Aurea is the one who gave you the Pokedex. She's told me all sorts of things about you. I'm just overjoyed I could meet you here! So in commemoration of our meeting, let me upgrade your Pokédex! Okay?
Pink:ok
[Pinks Pokédex was upgraded!]
Cedric: There are some Pokémon that are of the same species, but have different forms. With this upgrade, you can now keep track of which forms you've seen! Plus, I've added some additional functions to make it easier to search for Pokémon!
(A girl walks in.)
"Professor Juniper, who's this Trainer?"
Cedric: Oh! ...Oh! Sorry, I'm sorry. Skyla, this is Pink, an acquaintance of my daughter! Pink's journeying through Unova, aiming to complete the Pokédex.
Pink:nice to meet you
Skyla: I see! Then you'll probably challenge the gym here, right? Wow! I'm really looking forward to it!!
Pink:me too
Cedric: Yeah, Pink! It'd be great if you challenged her! I'm sure you'll just soar right through the gym here! Well, Skyla, if anything comes up again, I'm counting on you!
Skyla: ...Professor, my plane's a cargo plane! It carries luggage, not people. ...Not to mention places like Kanto and Sinnoh aren't easy destinations!
Cedric: Hey, now, don't be so harsh while you're making such a cute face... Humans need to help each other, just like we do with Pokémon! Well, you two, hope we meet again! (Cedric leaves.)
Skyla: ...Why! So irresponsible for a world-renowned Pokémon professor! I still don't believe it. Now, Pink! As the gym leader, I'd be very glad if you were to challenge my gym. But first, there's something I need to do. Earlier, when I was flying my cargo plane... I saw something atop the Celestial Tower. It was a weakened Pokémon, I'm sure of it! I can't very well ignore it, now can I? So I'm going ahead and investigating! That said, I'm going to the Celestial Tower on Route 7... And if you want, you can come too. (leaves)
So Pink rides along Rt7 and reaches Celestal Tower. She then climbs up the tower battleing pokemon and trainers on the way. She reaches the top and meets Skyla.
Skyla: You came! Thank you. What I saw earlier was indeed a wounded Pokémon. But it's alright now! I gave it a Max Revive, then it got better and flew away! Teehee! Great view, isn't it?! A pilot needs eyes that can see things from miles away! Right! Since you came all this way, how about you ring that bell? The Celestial Tower's bell calms the spirits of the Pokémon. And its tone is affected by the heart of the one who rings it...
So Pink walks towards the bell and rings it The sound of the bell echoes out all around.
Skyla: What a nice sound... Pink, you're a kind and powerful person... That's what this sound tells me,So allow me to reintroduce myself! I am Skyla, gym leader of Mistralton Pokémon Gym. I use flying-type Pokémon. As soon as you're ready, please do come to my gym! I'll be ready to give you a warm welcome!
So both Pink and Skyla climb down the tower towards the Gym.
