Angels pov

When we finished getting ready I looked us all over. I was wearing a blue knee length dress with a silver belt and no make up. Tanya wore a purple knee length dress with light make up, and Damon had a white button up shirt with dress pants and a black belt. We looked amazing. We walked down the stairs and I heard his mother mumble,"Way better than the short shorts and tank she had on." I got mad but Damon grabbed my hand, which made me calm down instantly. "I didn't get to formally introduce myself, I'm Angel, and this is my friend Tanya, who has been staying here with us." They smiled and his father said,"It's very nice to meet you. I am the original Damon, but you may call me dad." And his mother said,"And I am Alison, but you can call me mom." I smiled and said,"I never really had parents growing up, thank you for showing such kindness." The kings eyebrows nit together,"What do you mean?" I sighed,"I didn't mean for that to slip but I guess since you are going to be my in laws I should share my past." I took a deep breath."When I was born my mother and father said I looked like an angel, so they named me Angel. After a while, my father began cheating on my mother and when I found out I tried to tell her, but he started abusing me and threatening me. Finally, I got the message to her and received a horrible beating." Damon growled and I squeezed his hand, which I was still holding."After he left, my mom always blamed me, so she abused me herself, but it wasn't as bad as what that sad excuse of a father did. One day she got remarried and they had a son named Matt. They split up when he found out about her abusing me. He took Matt on Halloween to live with him, and I was going to live with Tanya, because my mom kicked me out. I had took Matt around trick or treating and I met Damon. Life's gotten much better now." I said smiling through my tears. Before Damon could comfort me, I was being squished into his mom and dads arms. "Aww honey, I'm deeply sorry for what has happened to you! If you need anything call me. Take good care of him, and if he gives you trouble, let me know." I smiled and was about to say 'I will' but Tanya jumped in."Oh she won't need to call you, she's a newly changed Siren!" Mom gasped and looked into my eyes and smiled."Straighten his butt out with your power, but use it wisely." I nodded and said,"Don't worry mom, I will." Her smile grew a little,"It was nice to meet you, but me and the queen have other things to attend to." Aww the queen and-"Wait, your royalty?!" They nodded slowly and looked at my guilty looking mate,"Did you not tell her?! I gave her my permission to kick your butt with her power if your bad!" I giggled as she scolded him. Soon after they left, I said,"they seem pretty cool." He smiled,"That wasn't how they act.."
