Chapter 18

Angels pov

There pack was very small, I thought Damon said they were large? Maybe he said most. I wasn't sure, but I followed him into the living room and sat next to him on the couch. I was sitting so stiff, I could be a statue. The man sitting across from me, may or may not be my so called father. Of course he just sat there smirking like an idiot. I think it suits him. We sat there silently before saying,"It's been a few years, wanna come give me a hug." Back then I would usually slump over and do as he asked but the new me said,"Why, you wanna beat me some more? Why don't you try it because I've changed just like you. I'm a Siren." He looked shocked. Just then, Janet came and got all clingy to him. I gagged but he ignored it. He looked surprised that I could even posses that power. 'Show you who's boss' I thought to myself. "How's your whore of a mother?" It was obviously supposed to get to me but I didn't care. I shrugged,"Haven't seen her in a while." He squinted his eyes. I looked at the door as Honey came running in. When I turned back to him I glared,"Somebody still has a staring problem." He growled at me and then Damon growled at him. Janet growled at Damon. I couldn't really growl so instead of embarrassing myself I screamed,"If I could growl I would growl at you!" Damon bit back his laughter. I laid down on the couch and put my feet in Damon's lap. I was snuggled up to Honey, just petting her. Alpha Tom frowned at me, and glared. "What Alpha Tom do you have a problem with my life being perfect?" He ignored me and looked at Damon and said,"I want to take my daughter home with me." I laughed in his face,"I will never go anywhere with you!" He growled at me and yelled,"You still have no respect for anyone!" Then he slapped me. Hard. I started seeing black dots, but before everything goes black, I see Tanya come scoop me up and carry me up stairs with Honey following along. I closed my eyes. Then I had cold water splashed on me. My eyes flew open. I was in the bath and Damon was bathing me. He still thought I was asleep, so when he bathed my ribs and I laughed, he jumped back surprised. "Are you alright? Honey wouldn't leave your side. Me and Tanya stayed there too. I'm so sorry! Are you hungry? I'll ma-" I cut him off and kissed him. We stayed like that for a while, until we needed air. He smiled, picked me up, and dried me off. I let him carry me bridal style to the room, to get my clothes. Thank goodness we were in the in-suite bathroom. I asked before I fell asleep,"What happened after he hit me?" He growled lowly then said,"I forced him out of my territory. Then me and Tanya decided to bathe you and Tanya had to go see her mate, he's moving in." I smiled and said while yawning,"What's going to happen to my dad?" He sighed and said,"I don't know." He got me dressed in my pajamas and laid me down. I fell asleep as soon as his arm was around my waist.
