"I'm sorry! Please forgive me?!" Tanya was on the floor begging mine and Damon's forgiveness. I rolled my eyes. "How annoying am I now, Tanya." Tanya's mouth fell into an o shape. "How much did you hear?" I hissed,"I've heard enough." She sighed,"That was years ago, please just please forgive me!" I sighed,"You get another chance. Mess it up, then it's good bye. Why didn't you tell us James was your mate? I could get Damon to let him stay." Damon growled and I looked at him. "James is a rogue, that's why he won't stay here with his mate. That's the only thing keeping him alive, his family." Before I could ask why, Tanya said,"Royalty, remember?" I nodded and said,"Why didn't you tell me that before?" He sighed,"I was worried you would freak out and leave me." I laughed,"Just like you expected me to freak out about werewolves and mates." He smiled,"You freaked out about mates." That made me frown,"Because I thought you might not want me." He frowned too. "Why wouldn't I want you?" I started "Well, there are so many girls that are way prettier than me,-" Tanya stopped me,"Girl, don't start with that crap, I will not listen to your silly lies." Damon said,"Tanya's right you know, you don't see your beauty." I smiled, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" he nodded and said,"and you are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." I started crying and I jumped in his arms. He didn't understand why and Tanya didn't know either. When I was younger, my own father said I was hideous. Since he told me that, I've always been insecure about it."Baby, what's wrong?" I couldn't answer so I shook my head. He took me to the room, and laid me on the bed. "Shh..." He cooed. Once I stopped crying and was only hiccuping, he asked again,"What's wrong?" I sighed,"My dad called me ugly when I was younger and I've always been insecure about it. You made me feel perfect down there." He kissed my forehead, and said,"Are we going to the lake or not?" I giggled as he scooped me up and ran down the stairs. "The pack is moving in this afternoon, since my parents are retiring." My eyes widened,"I don't think I'm ready." He sighed,"You'll do fine, because I'll be there to help you and you to me." We grabbed the bag and we got Tanya, and we left for the lake where I was turned into a Siren. It looked brighter outside, prettier than before. "Your eye sight has enhanced." I nodded in agreement. "Do I actually get to swim today?" He nodded and before I knew it he jumped in. With me still in his arms. When we surfaced, I whacked him on his forehead, "What?" Awe he's trying to look innocent. "That innocent look isn't working for you." He frowned at me and I giggled. I kissed his cheek and dove down into the water. I opened my eyes and he had his eyes open too, chasing me. I heard a splash in a distance, indicating Tanya decided to jump in. I swam towards her legs and yanked her down with me. When Damon got close, I put her in front of his path were he ran smack into her. I giggled and remembered I was underwater so I went up choking. Damon patted me on the back so I wouldn't die from inhaling lake water. We stayed there till 4:00 and then we went home to eat a mix between lunch and dinner. When we got there, the garage was full and there were children ranging from newborn to teens and pre-teens running around the front yard or on there phones. Speaking of phones, I need to get my iPhone and charge it... Moms cooked food. Some people stopped and said,"Hey Luna" to me and "Hey Alpha" to Damon. Or they would say "Congratulations you guys!" I would smile, thank them and take note of asking Damon about it later. We finally made it to the kitchen, and they had steak with bacon wrapped around it, mashed potatoes, chips, hot dogs for the younger children, corn, cake for dessert. I got everyone in the kitchen's attention. "Thank you everyone for making this lovely looking dinner. I'm Angel, your new Luna and I'm sure y'all know Damon, he's the new Alpha. Thank you all." There was a chorus of you're welcome and oh that's the Luna every one is talking about. Damon whispered in my ear,"I'm sure they love you." I whispered back,"I hope so." We got our plates full and went to eat. A few people would welcome me and ask me a few questions like, "Is that your real hair?" Or "Are those your real eyes?" The one question that stood out to me was,"What was your childhood like, Luna?" I took a deep breath ready to tell her but Damon said,"No she shouldn't talk about it around the kids." They nodded in understanding. "Why?" He replied,"The children get upset if there Luna is upset." Just then she walked in.
