Chapter 19

Angels pov

I woke up without Damon. I frowned and sensed he was still in the house. I jogged down the stairs to get some breakfast but before I came around the corner, I heard him on the phone."Yes, Alpha Tom's pack will be destroyed. So you'll come around later to make plans." My eyes were so wide, they almost fell out of my sockets. I hated my dad, but would never wish death on him. I needed air. I ran out of the house and ran through the woods. I stepped on a stick and it stabbed my foot. Being me I forgot shoes, so it cut my foot. "Ouch!" I hissed in pain. I sat down so it could heal, and I caught my breath. I was about to get up but I heard a twig snap behind me. I looked and there was a freaking huge wolf! To be more exact, it was a werewolf. They shifted and it was just Damon. I sighed relived it was just him, even if he was very angry and frustrated looking. "Why did you run?" I remembered why I ran and took a step back and whispered,"You're going to kill him. And his pack. I don't like him either but I don't go around killing people I have a problem with." He sighed and looked down. I heard him mumble,"You're right." I smiled and said,"I know." He looked up at me and grinned then frowned,"I'm going to take you home now." He shifted and I hopped on his back. He ran all the way home. I could only see a blur the whole way.

Damon's pov

I heard the front door slam. Crap, she must have heard me talking I explained to my beta, Hunter, and ran out of the door after her. When I found her she was sitting looking at her foot. I tried to get a closer look, but a twig snapped, giving me away. She looked up with fear filled eyes. Why is she scared? Oh yeah I'm still in my wolf form. I was still majorly angry a about this. I was worried she would venture onto Tom's territory. Luckily, I caught her a little ways before the line. I shifted and asked,"Why did you run?" She looked relived, probably thinking she ran into another wolf. Then she looked worried and scared. She stepped back and whispered,"You're going to kill him. And his pack. I don't like him either but, I don't go around killing people I have a problem with." I looked down with guilt. "Your right." I admitted with defeat. I could hear happiness in her voice,"I know." I grinned then I frowned, remembering I was still upset with her. "I'm going to take you home now." I shifted into my wolf, and she hopped onto my back. She didn't realize I was standing there naked. I chuckled to myself about that as I took off. I thought of a way I could teach her not to disobey me. 'I don't like our mate treating us like that' my wolf growled. He wasn't wanting to punish her but he knew we needed her to not leave like that. I decided were not going to share our mate. If I were in my human form right now, I would be smiling like a crazy person.

Angels pov

When we got home, I hopped off his back, and he shifted. I just realized HE'S NAKED! I turned and said,"Put some clothes on!" He growled at me, but this growl wasn't like the playful ones I was used to. I forgot about him being naked, and looked at him. I was scared of my mate. That didn't sentence didn't sound right. I started to back away but he tackled me and carried me upstairs. "No, Damon, put me down!" He growled and said in a deeper voice,"I'm not Damon, I'm his wolf, I'm not very happy with you." I felt a pain in my heart. He stopped at the top step and said,"I don't want you to go through more pain, so I'm not sharing you no more. I'm locking you in my bedroom. I'll bring your food to you." I started hyperventilating and thrashing,"No you can't do that to me! I have rights and I have freedom! Let me go!" He sat me down on the bed, and walked out calling over his shoulder,"Dinner will be up soon." I thought about sneaking out when he was in the kitchen, until I heard the click of the lock. I crawled under his bed and cried my eyes out. How could he do this to me?
