MERIENDA is a book where I drop the answer to my Tumblr asks on my stories (especially the Captive series), and also canon facts about One Piece that many fans (especially anime-only) are less likely to know about.
Oda stated that One Piece is originally intended for a Japanese audience, therefore many expressions or small hints are lost in translation.
The way a character speaks in Japanese says tons about their personality, for example. Material from the cover stories or the SBS doesn't see the light in the anime.
I will post this kind of stuff here because it's fun for me and it's easy to do when I have small amounts of free time that I couldn't use to properly write my stories.
