Saturday morning. Jennie jumped out of bed as soon as she realizes what time it is.

Shit, shit, shit!

It was close to 12 in the afternoon and she has less than half an hour left to submit her assignment. Yep, she had a whole week to do it and yet she decided to procrastinate all the way til' the very last minute to complete the assignment.

Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa were doing their own things when they heard the loud sound of stomps and banging of drawers from the room upstairs - it felt as if the house was actually about to be dismantled into pieces.

"Jennie-unnie???" Lisa called out as she looked towards the ceiling as if she could x-ray that shit and see what's going on. "You okay up there????"

Rosé stopped mid-track as she was just putting her shoes on and Jisoo decided to head towards the sound of the loud noises. Soon after, the other girls followed behind her.

"Nyeongan??" Jisoo said, confused when she saw how frantic Jennie looked with her bedroom turned almost upside-down.

"Um, not now Jisoo, I have an assignment to submit... aND I CAN'T FIND THE DAMN PAPERS ANYWHERE!" Jennie half-yelled, knees on the ground rummaging through her bottom drawer full of god knows whatever is in there because it definitely didn't look close to being organised.

At that moment, Rosé broke off a giggle, and then Jennie finally turned to look at her and the other girls who have been watching the commotion.

"What?" Jennie said, "Is this funny to y'all?"

If looks could kill, the three of them would be dead by now. It was as if Jennie's body was already hitting the boiling point and would let off steam in any moment.... and then Lisa laughed and soon after Jisoo joined in.

"What's so damn funny, you guys???" Jennie furrowed her eyebrows.

"Oh nothing, the other day I saw Jisoo-unnie finishing an assignment." Rosé explained.

"Yeah, and then she submitted it at campus before she visited me while I was at work." Lisa continued, smiling.

"And why is this important to me right now???" Jennie asked, still confused and STILL boiling.

"Because I submitted that assignment for you already." Jisoo smiled sheepishly.

The room went quiet. Jennie's face turned blank as her mouth came agape. She couldn't believe what she just heard.

"You guys have got to be kidding me." She said and the three girls laughed. "Seriously!!!!"

"Jisoo-unnie!!!!!!" Jennie whined. She finally stood up to put her arms around the older girl's neck as wet tears began to form. Rosé and Lisa then joined the two to form a group hug.

"But why would you do that?" Jennie said, crying in disbelief. "And why didn't the two of you tell me that she was doing my work??"

"Jisoo-unnie said not to tell you so we didn't."
"Yeah."

"It's to teach you a lesson. She knew this was going to happen because you're always just on that couch doing nothing but procrastinating on your work! Also she has way too much time on her hands.." Rosé laughed and Jisoo just giggled all the way.

"You could've reminded me at least! I do have to see the work you submitted though, else I wouldn't be able to answer the professor if he asks me any questions about it."

"Don't worry, I made a copy." Jisoo winked.

The afternoon went by as the girls argued about Jisoo doing Jennie's work and how Jennie was irresponsible to just forget about the assignment papers she left on the kitchen island. When they finally reached an agreement, or more like Jennie agreeing to disagree, the girls decided to spend time together and follow Rosé on her initial plan (before the commotion) to go for a jog around the campus. It was just another somewhat productive weekend for them.

Days passed by and the girls are now close to the end of the following week. Jennie wouldn't stop talking about this new drama series that she's watching and she's pestered everyone in the house to watch it with her, oh, especially Jisoo. The older girl, obviously feeling obliged to, sat through a whole season with her. When a new season came out, Jisoo promised to finish watching it the same time as Jennie would, or the younger girl wouldn't want to talk to her.

When Saturday evening comes, Jisoo got a call from Sunmi who said she needed help over at her house. And of course she felt the need to go over. Jisoo quickly got dressed and went over to Jennie's room to see the girl taking the other day's "punishment" seriously now that she's doing work weeks before a submission date.

"Hey, Jennie! I know Lisa and Rosé aren't home and I just wanna tell you that I'm leaving now to go over to Sunmi's-"

"What the hell, Jisoo?" Jennie frowned as she struggles to focus on doing her work. "Don't talk to me until you've actually finished watching the whole series, please!"

Oh.

Right.

Jennie was mad because Jisoo failed to keep her promise to finish watching that drama series the same time as she did, and it's been a whole day now that they haven't talked. As petty as it sounds, Jisoo was still taken aback by the other girl's reply, because the tone of Jennie's voice really sounded serious. Like, dead serious. Is she really upset just because her best friend still has yet to finish watching a damn Netflix series?

Jisoo sighed, disappointed, but she left the house anyways.
