Jennie and Jisoo spent another couple of hours at the roller-skating rink. After following Jisoo around the rink and falling and laughing countless of times, Jennie decided that the sport isn't for her. She took off her skates and told Jisoo that she would just become her personal photographer, and so Jisoo let her. Jennie followed Jisoo around the skating rink, taking photos and videos, directing the older girl on her movements, and hyping her up.
"I'll make a retro music video out of these footages of you, Kim Jisoo." Jennie told the older girl.
When they were finally done and tired, they returned their skates and walked out of the place. Habitually, Jennie linked her arm around Jisoo's as they walked around and think of places to eat, as Jennie complained of being tired and Jisoo teasing her for not even doing much.
Funny how it was as if nothing ever happened between the two girls previously. It felt like they haven't seen each other in awhile and now they're just spending the day together to make up for lost time... like best friends.
"Hey, where do you think Chaeyoung and Lisa went?" Jisoo asked Jennie, who looked like she might just fall asleep on the spot. "Do you think we should all have dinner out together?"
Jennie, with her free hand, then felt her pockets to reach out for her phone. She dialled Lisa's number but it went straight to voicemail, so she dialled Rosé's number instead. Jennie waited as the sound of the phone ringing filled her left eardrum.
Meanwhile, Jisoo decided to reach out for her phone too, and check her notifications.
Vogue Girl😍:
Hey, how are you? Call me when you're free.

31m agoJisoo then remembered that she was supposed to call Sunmi. She let go of Jennie's arm who was now talking to Rosé on the other line and stood a little further apart, excusing herself from the smaller girl.
Jennie frowned when she felt her arm being dropped off so suddenly. She was still talking to Rosé when she saw Jisoo dialling someone else's number.
"Yes, Rosie. Get a cab here, I'll drive us all home after," Jennie says to the younger girl on the other end of the line. "Okay, see you. Bye."
After ending the call with Rosé, Jennie stepped closer to Jisoo who was now talking to someone on the phone. She can't help but to wonder who, especially when Jisoo got all smiley just like that. Jennie waited awkwardly, playing with her fingers and glancing at Jisoo from time to time. When the older girl finally ended the call, Jennie looked at Jisoo curiously, as if waiting for an answer.
"It's Sunmi. I asked her to join us," Jisoo said and Jennie's face dropped slightly. "But she's got other things to do."
"Oh." Jennie croaked. She did feel her heart clench a bit upon hearing that name, but soon felt a sense of relief.
"I was a.." Jisoo scratched the back of her head embarrassingly as memories flew through her head that moment. "I was quite a mess huh, last night?"
Last night. The situation felt completely different for Jennie as compared to right now. The girl was sitting at her usual spot at home and suddenly heard Jisoo yelling from outside. She somehow felt relieved because the truth is, she has been waiting for Jisoo to come home. Even when they're not in talking terms, she'd still want to know that Jisoo would come home safe.
"JENDEUKI-YAH! OPEN THE DOOR! I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!"
Huh. She must've forgotten her keys. Jennie thought. Then she heard another voice, a lower tone, familiar yet foreign.
