Y/n crouched down in the dirt under the bushes in her family's castle growling lowly as Ben, Audrey and Chad were running around as they were playing tag. Chad looked over at the bushes confused until Y/n pounced onto him laughing.
Y/n: "Pinned ya, Chad now your it!" She said giggling before she got off of him and dusted of her now dirty blue and white outfit before fixing the bow holding her long brown hair back.

Meanwhile King Maximilian and Queen Leah were talking to King Adam and Queen Belle about cementing ties between their kingdoms by marriage Ben and Audrey as well Y/n and Chad. Over the years the children became friends except Y/n and Chad because while Y/n was smart and liked to read, fencing with Cogsworth, Chad believed that a princess like Y/n should be more delicate and less readying which Y/n told him that he was no better then Gaston as he belittled her mother and nearly committed her grandfather to an insane asylum just for Belle to marry him which never happened, Throughout their childhood where Y/n went Chad followed after her from her lessons at home, Ballroom dancing, even child dates at dinner parties with other royals.
When the children started at Auradon Prep, Chad would not leave Y/n alone constantly following her around trying to get her attention yet she ignored him and his gifts of affections from vases filled with lillies (her second favorite flower), love letters and jewelry til she had enough and roared at him to leave her alone it was then her parents told her about the supposed arranged marriage between them which she wanted dissolved immediately as Adam could tell how truly this upsetted his daughter while Belle understood that her son and daughter should marry for love just like they did so they dissolved the engagements.
King Maximilian and Queen Leah believed in time that Ben would marry Audrey while Chad would marry Y/n after she'd fallen in love with him but then it was time for the Beast twins first royal proclamation.
