Your POV, 5:30 am

The sun goes up as the birds from your outside window begin to chirp harmoniously, the sun's rays enter your bedroom and some of it rest on your bed and on your face, you patiently squint your eyes and try to get away from the shining shimmering sun.

you check the time on your wall clock and it's 5:30 am, it's a sign for you to get ready.

you go to the toilet and did your morning routine and as usual, take a bath, brush your teeth, and change your clothes into your school uniform.

but you remember that you need to hurry up before they wake up.

then, you went downstairs and began to cook breakfast for your aunt and your family.

while cooking, you begin to reminisce the times when your mom was still alive, she would usually cook breakfast for your whole family and you would help her with the dicing and stuff.

but now she's gone 

you miss her so badly, you really do, and you want her back in your life

you miss her rants, her pieces of advice that she used to tell you, the way she would take care of you and her kissing your forehead every time you'd do well in school.

but destiny said otherwise.

and all you have left is your aunt and her family.

you love them too as your own family, but unfortunately, your aunt doesn't feel the same way as how you love her as your own.

well you see, your parents died when you were still 11, and no one wanted to adopt and take care of you, so your aunt voluntarily took you to her place and family, she promised you that she will take care of you and treat you as her own.

at first, she was very nice, she would cook you meals and drop you to school and you wished that she would stay like that forever.

but that didn't end well

 her true colors showed when y'all began to live in the same house.

she became abusive, she could get physically, verbally, or emotionally abusive towards you, she also has anger issues which makes it even worse, she would get mad at you for the simplest reasons ever and want you to do every household chore in this house.

but you don't want tat to ruin your new day so you prepared everyone's food including yours, you begin to eat breakfast before the time runs out.

after eating, you packed lunch for yourself in school and began to prepare your bag too, you placed everything you need and you're all set to go, you check the time once again and it's soon to get to 6:00 am.

you left your home and begin to walk to school, it's a 15 minute walking distance to your school and you don't mind walking despite the busy and crowded roads.

you also don't want to spend money for transportation since you don't even receive any allowance from your aunt.

you step inside the school campus and you observe the people around you, some students are chit chattering around and some are working on their project, the teachers are talking to each other beside the huge crowded hallway.

everyone seems to be having fun in their lives meanwhile you have to work in order to survive.

it's crucial for your part, but you are left with no choice, you have to be independent in the earliest you could.

you could feel some people staring at you from a distance but you don't mind them, and some of their boyfriends are drooling over you and it makes them hate you a lot.
