the weekend has come by and you can't help but have a smile on your face since it's time for you to finally rest your mind from the university itself
you check the time on the wall clock and it's 8 am right now, you want to stand up and do something but you're also too lazy to even get out of bed
but your smile fades when you slowly begin to remember the weird dream you just had last night, you were dreaming about your mom but you didn't saw her in it.
but her voice was echoing around your ears and in the dream itself, she was saying.
"don't fall for the trap, baby," she says concerningly, you tried to look for her but she was nowhere to be seen in the dream.
you stare at the white ceiling on top of you but you decide to shrug it off because you know that dreams don't define the future
you open your phone and receive a message from Taehyung
Tae: Good morning, baby!
me: oh, good morning to you too, Taehyung.
you can't help but smile through the phone again, this guy is making you smile once again by him texting first before you.
Taehyung: are you free later? at 4 pm?
Me: yes, I am😊
Taehyung: okay I'll pick you up later baby, we're going somewhere bye!💞
Me: bye
you close your phone with a smile on your face but drop it immediately because if Song-i sees you smiling by yourself she might send you to the mental hospital
you go down from your bed and look at her's but she isn't there anymore, you question yourself "Why does she keep walking up earlier than you?"
you go to the kitchen and saw her cooking another set of breakfast
"Good morning Dahyee, how's your sleep?" she asks while trying to flip the egg she's frying
"It was honestly weird," you say with a frown when you try to remember some detail of it
"Why?" she asks but she fails to flip the egg and tries to run away from the oil splashing on her.
"I just dreamed about my mom talking to me but I didn't see her, but her voice was widely echoing, saying that I shouldn't fall for the trap," you tell her worriedly.
"w-what trap?" she questions you too.
"Even I don't know," you tell her
"well then, forget about it, let's eat breakfast" she gestures to you to prepare the dining table.
after eating breakfast, you begin to dig into your closet to check for an outfit to wear, you try to dig into the closet you have but you're not in the mood to wear what you'd usually wear.
then you saw a thick cute hoodie that is tucked into the very back of your closet, it was a hoodie that Jimin bought you, and even though you don't like the one who bought it, you love the comfy fabric and you decide to wear a pair of shorts with it
you take a bath and after it, you wear the clothes you check yourself in your vanity mirror and you won't lie, you look cute wearing them.
you decided to join Song-i on the couch and just watched some movies, you also inform her that you and Taehyung will go on a date together at 4 pm
she wonders and asks you if you trust him to be with you later and you confirm it to her by saying yes, she makes sure of it and nods, and you both continue to watch movies on Netflix.

a few hours have passed and you didn't notice that it is already 3:50 pm, and Taehyung has texted you saying that he is already outside of your apartment building
you hurry up, taking your phone and purse before putting your shoes on, you waved goodbye to Song-i then go out until you get to the outside, you see Taehyung's car and you get in.
you see him all dressed up, he's wearing a white oversized sweater with white cargo pants and you can't help but admire his fashion sense skills, he gives you a huge boxy smile.
"Are you ready baby?" he asks
"yes! But where though?" you ask him while trying to buckle your seatbelt.
"how about let's go to the mall?" he asks while looking at the road in front of him.
"Okay then," you say with a smile, he agrees with you and begins to drive

you both arrive at the destination and he asks you where you wanna go first and your first choice is always your favorite clothing shop, forever 21, he agrees with you in an instant and you both go there.
you pick out your favorite clothes meanwhile Taehyung looks like a lost child while looking for a chair to sit on in the middle of the clothing shop and he smiles in the success at seeing one, he takes his phone out and begins to play

you casually picked a lot of clothes and you pay for everything before finding Taehyung whose jaw has dropped to see the number of shopping bags you're holding in your hands.
"One girl with a million clothes," he says with a chuckle before shutting his phone closed
"and one boy with a million chairs" you joke and he laughs.
he goes closer to you and takes the shopping bags from your hand and grabs them all together, you tell him that it's fine but he insists on taking everything and leaving your hand with nothing and you admire his gentlemanly attitude.
you both proceed to the food court and ate your dinner

time passes by and you both decide to play games in the mini fun fair in the mall, he bets you a game and if he wins, you should buy him a scoop of ice cream and you take the bet
"Sure! Go ahead and I'll watch you do it," you tell him and he nods at you with a huge boxy smile.
he went for a go and you watch him as he shoots the cards using the darts that were given by the seller, and you can't help but admire his amazing skills when it comes to shooting it was all perfect and he hit every center of the cards.
but the more you admire his skills, the more you suddenly remember Jimin when he also did the same thing Taehyung is doing right now, he got every single one and even won a giant teddy but he decided to give it to you instead.
Deja vu, isn't it?
you take a deep breath before thinking of the words like memories are just memories and should be forgotten even if it's good.
but he did make you bring back your inner child successfully.
memories are just memories, and the past should never be present, whatever it takes
you guess that he's doing well and happier without you
