One month after break up

~~~~
Izuku POV.
I'm not even gonna lie. Although I'm still a little upset and couldn't possibly imagine finding another Alpha anytime soon, I'm doing perfectly fine without Todoroki. Ochako has been letting me stay at her house and even though she insisted that I don't need to pay her I gave her a raise so she couldn't refuse.
Even though I've been doing alright and business is better than ever at Baker's Change, I can't shake the feeling that soon something rather unexpected is going to happen in my life. I just can't decide if it's going to be bad or good so I guess I'll wait and see; let my reaction be the judge of my future.
It's a Monday morning which means currently I'm getting ready for work and rethinking my life decisions. What if I don't ever find another mate? Maybe I should've just tried to work it out with Todoroki? What did he mean by 'you might regret it later'? My life is a complete mess. The only thing that's going well is work but I do need to try and get more employees, Ochako, Tsu, and I can't handle it by ourselves forever, not to mention Ochako and I's heats make it hard to be open as much as I would like. I should talk to them about putting up "Now Hiring" fliers.
I'm knocked out of my thoughts when I look at the time. The clock read, 7:00 am. I was supposed to already be there to help make more pastries and open with Tsu. I look down to realize I had already subconsciously got myself dressed. So I run down the stairs, grab my keys, and head to my car.
I get to the shop and run in setting my stuff down in the breakroom. Putting on an apron as I walk to the baking area, seeing Tsu rolling out croissant dough and cinnamon rolls already in the oven with pies on a cooling rack. I'm impressed but that's overshadowed by the guilt I feel for not being here earlier.
"Uraraka has the day off so it's going to be just us, and I'm sorry that I came late you can have tomorrow off if you want," I tell Tsu.
She nods and starts cutting the croissant dough while saying, "It's okay Midoriya, I know Monday mornings are hard for you."
When I was with Todoroki he would make me pancakes on Monday mornings before work to 'help get my day and week started right' as he put it, because I always had a hard time on Monday's and I haven't been sleeping well lately either so that's not helping.
I tell her thanks, and start to work on rolling and putting the dough on baking sheets letting Tsu take over the task of setting out the tables and making sure everything is clean in the front of the cafe.
Once I finished making the other treats and pulling them out to cool, Tsu comes in taking the already cool items to put on display. I walk out to the front door ready to turn on the open sign when I see a flash of something, I brushed it off assuming one of the lights was just flickering and turned on the blue and red flashing open sign letting morning workers know that we are ready to supply them with coffee.
~
It was now lunchtime, on Monday's you never know what's gonna happen, sometimes theirs a rush, most times it gets completely deserted, and of course some Mondays it's like lunch hour doesn't exist and we just have the usual steady flow.
Today was one of those dead and deserted where everyone was probably eating at their jobs or skipping altogether trying to get as much work done as possible so maybe they just might be able to take Friday off. But it was okay, Tsu and I finished our lunches up early so we decided to work on the "Now Hiring" fliers and update our website and Facebook/Instagrams for the cafe.
"Hey, Midoriya?" Tsu called.
"Yes?"
"Should we say anyone can apply or preferably only Omega's and Beta's?" She said walking out from the back.
"Uhm, I'm not sure. I guess anyone would be fine but maybe it should be circumstantial? I wouldn't want people to think we're being discriminatory but it would be a safety concern if we had multiple Alpha's."
"Maybe when we get enough people we could do an Alpha, Beta, and Omega on a shift so then the Beta's there just in case. And until we do have enough people we could just have the Alpha's together or Beta's with Alpha's, of course, if some of the people are already mated than it wouldn't be an issue either," Tsu says, explaining.
"That's a great idea, Tsu! Thank you, let's go with that as our plan."
Soon enough everything is updated and Tsu starts printing the fliers that have our company name, where to call/email, and what days and times are available for interviews so people can kind of schedule.
After there all printed Tsu helps me laminate them before I go and hang them around, a few inside the store, one right next to the cash register, and a few around the block. I busy myself putting up fliers around the block while Tsu keeps an eye on everything around the cafe.
I just put up the last poster breathing out a sigh of relief when suddenly someone-I assume accidentally-bumped into me, catching me off guard making me lose my balance and fall to the ground. Almost instantly I got up and prepared for some weirdo who was going to yell at me for being in his way. Instead when I looked up there stood a really hot-what I assumed to be Alpha based on his scent-male figure that was at least six feet tall if not more with ash-blond hair that was spikey but it also looked so soft. I just stood there awkwardly, I'm not really sure what I wanted or expected out of this but something told me not to move, and the tall male didn't say anything about so I waited while he kept doing something on his phone. Noticing that there were two male figures behind him, also waiting. One had red spikey hair, looking very lively. The other male had messy purple hair but was somehow out of his face and he looked like he was so tired he could pass out any second. Getting uncomfortable I slowly started walking backward in the direction of the shop. But of course, right at that moment, he looked up.
To be continued...
