Chapter 5~ Regret

Okay I know it's been a minute but that's okay. This is just Todoroki regretting his life decisions after Izuku breaking up with him and him trying to be sort of happy. TBH just read it'll make more sense. This starts off based a little later the night that his relationship ended with Izuku but ends up back in the present to the day Bakugo and Izuku first meet. 

Todoroki POV. (yes the information in this chapter is necessary for later on in this book)

Currently, I'm in my brother Touya's (Dabi's) house. I couldn't think of anywhere else to go besides a hotel and really didn't feel like just drinking away my problems alone. So here I am with my brother that just so happens to be the best photographer/tracker in the criminal underworld,(BLACK BUTLER PLZ!!) only he's on the side of the criminals and is in a gang. ( ;-;) I told him what I did and all he did in the ways of comfort was hand me a beer and said, "well you definitely f*cked up." Which I can tell you did not help at all. 

I hate this feeling, I really need Izuku back. He's mine. He might've not been my 'true mate' (soulmate type thing) but I did love him, and the thought of anyone else being with him was terrifying.

After a while, of just watching the news and drinking beer I turned to Touya, "I want in." He looked at me surprised.

"Why now? You always refused before."

"Before is relative to anything before my life started falling apart. Now that I have nothing to lose besides my future, I might as well join. But I want him back."

"Okay dude, I'll make some calls tomorrow."

~A few days later~

Today I'm meeting almost all the important people in this gang my brother is apart of. I'm a little nervous but I don't think anyone would be able to notice.

"Okay, everybody listen up!" Touya says getting everyone's attention. We're in what appears to be a pretty normal meeting room along with everyone in the gang. "This is my brother Shoto, but just call him Todoroki. Shoto, this is Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and Toga, the boss isn't here right now."

"Hi! Toga, nice to meet you! I love blood!" She introduces herself, sounding a little psychotic. 

"Hello, it's good to meet you." I give her the smallest smile I could possibly give anyone, ever. 

"Oh, honey, what happened? Why is your heart broken?" She sounds almost motherly now, completely shifting her mood. But I'm left to wonder how she knew that I just recently got broken up with. I look to Touya for help but he just gave me a look that said, 'this her thing, go with it.'

"Don't worry we're gonna find him, and make him fall in love with you again. Now, what was his name? Dabi, why don't you tell me? I'm sorry but your brother doesn't seem very enthused." She looks from me to my brother. 

"Baby, let's not do this right now," Wait, did he say... baby?  "we have plenty of time to talk about what happened and what we're gonna do about it later, okay?" She pouts a bit clearly wanting her matchmaking dreams to come true as soon as possible. "C' mere, let's go watch a movie." "Okay," She says and walks over to him, getting picked up into his arms and hugging him like a koala before they go off into another room. Leaving me completely confused.

I turn to the two other people still in the room looking for clarification, even though they've been silent for the extent of the conversation so far. 

"Even though she a beta she always ends up acting like a total smoosh ball Omega with Dabi. They're mates as you probably guessed." It was Kurogiri who spoke up.
