Thicker than blood. More precious than oil. Riverdale's big business is maple syrup. Since the town's founding, one family has controlled its lucrative syrup trade, The Blossoms. They were a part of the fabric of our daily lives... Rich or poor, old or young, we consumed Blossom syrup by the bucket. That sickly, sweet smell was inescapable. The death of Jason Blossom precipitated a crisis. With the heir apparent gone, who would inherit the family business one day? Certainly not Cheryl. It was a question that brought the wolves to Riverdale. And now, the Blossoms were circling the wagonsagainst possible attack, from within their own ranks.

Evan came over for breakfast as we eat my sister was done talking on the phone

"Hey sis Cheryl called"

"And what did she need"

"To remind you to look your absolute best" then it hit me

"Oh right"

"What" asked Evan i sighed

"every year, the blossoms host a tree-tapping ceremony, a tradition that honors the Blossom bloodline"

"Okay but what does that have to do with you" he asked confused

"Since me and Cheryl were friends in 5th grade and Jason when he was alive adored me as a little sister the blossoms accepted me as their own so every year i go with either my mom or lavender but since I'm with you now" His eyes widen

"Oh no no no no that's not happening no way"

"Oh please got with her Evan because either me or our mom goes threw that hell again and I'm going to strangle some of those people there." my sister told him bluntly but i gave him the puppy dog eyes he sighed in defeat

"Fine" i clapped in joy at in school Archie explained to me his situation as we walked we see Ms. Blossom and well she saw us

"Archibald. I was going to get Principal Weatherbee to summon you Hello Angel dear"

"Hello Mrs. Blossom"

"Hey, Mrs. Blossom Have a moment to chat? About Cheryl."

"I believe she invited you to our tree-tapping ceremony?"

"Yeah She did, and like I told her, I don't feel comfortable going."

"Cheryl tells me you have a keen interest in music. Is that true? Did she tell you her Great-Uncle Harrison sits on the board of the Brandenburg Music Academy? They have an excellent summer program, I hear."
