It has been several centuries since the dawn of the first Scourge colony. Our humble beginnings on the first planets of our empire were harsh, and unforgiving. The blistering heat of the desert planet we first inhabited has traumatized us, even several generation later. Our infrastructure simply could not further expand after a certain level; the habitability of the planet was poor.

However, ironically the magma planet proved to be far better suited for us than the dry barren world of Xlajiff. Juieth, the second planet we colonized was a fiery planet of molten magma coursing through what would've been rivers and lush valleys. There were two moons that orbited the planet, we found them far better suited than the plane itself. However, the magma planet was far richer in resources than the desert, and so our infrastructure grew quite a bit...

The days of the Republic are long gone; our Empire now bears a imperialistic view. Centuries after, we have colonized several worlds; our infrastructure would dwarf our ancient predecessor like a gas giant to an asteroid. Oh, how powerful we have come...and how large the universe is.

Hades' Star.

This galaxy is quite the place. Whoever last ruled this galaxy was certainly powerful, the numerous ships brimming with alien weaponry is a testament to this. Their work has stood the test of time, and so have the remnants of their technology. Every few years we conduct a mission to send our finest warships, and Cargo vessels into one of the alien solar systems, using a specific scanner-station that finds Cerberus controlled systems. The reverse engineered alien warp-gate oddly only accepts three warships, but anything else not fielding a shield or weaponry is allowed. Mining vessels and Cargo vessels no matter the amount can freely enter the Cerberus star systems without issue.

Oddly, the scanner only scans for stars that are going to supernova in exactly fourteen months.

We call these alien solar-ystems Red Stars. The captain and crew of each warship found it easier to remember than 'Unstable Cerberus Controlled System'. Or it could be called, as abbreviated in communications, 'R.S.'.

Once entering the Red Star, we find that there are many shattered, or nearly destroyed Cerberus worlds. Empty city's of glittering but rotting metal, sitting on piles of hot magma that's seeping through the crust. However in each of the super-structures, which we call 'Citadels' of the Cerberus worlds, we find a considerable caches of Alien Blue prints for a different fields of technology. Apart from the obvious civilian data caches, there are also important caches of blueprints for advanced technology. There are certain orbs stored deep in the Citadels of each world that can grant blueprints for new shield technologies, or improve ones we've already researched. However, it can also give blueprints for new weaponry to equip our mighty warships with.

Now, enough with useless talk. I'd suppose one would already know this; it's well known information in the Hades galaxy, so I'd suppose that you already understand all the core concepts.

However, there are some tales I'd like to tell you...

Tales of the Mighty Scourge, our Empire.

My Empire.
