Chapter 6 PART II: A Date With the Gangster
Eyes dark as pure black, and his lips, those rosy reddish lips. He is intently looking at me yet I don't know what to do.
We're here at the balcony, and you can see the whole view, the woods and the creepy road that connects the school from the outside.
"Ehem, baka matunaw ako." I joked, nakaka-awkward kasi yung tingin niya.
Iniwas niya naman na ang tingin niya at pinagmasdan ang paligid, "in your dreams, Corronet."
It is cold, probably because it's already night time. I can still hear the band playing but you can't see the other students. Bakit ba ako dinala dito ng lalaki na ito dito, para saan?
I am tensed and here I am quiet and not saying a single word. This is not the Scarlet that I know, I should be kicking and punching this man beside me. Heck! I can't even move an inch.
" What are you thinking?" At last, nagsalita na ang isa sa amin. After the scene, He just pulled me here.
Tinignan ko naman si Elle, he's still wearing the dark aura of him. Well, he always wears that.
"None of your business" Wika ko at nilipat ang tingin ko sa kawalan. Naramdaman ko ang paglapit niya sa akin. Shit! He is invading my personal space.
"I can't change that." He said. His husky voice makes me shiver, ugh.
"Ano?"
Hindi niya sinagot ang tanong ko, ang gulo talaga nitong kasama ko.
"Don't talk to Duke." Simple yet it'll make you scare as shit. Tinignan ko siya, raising my left brow.
"At Bakit?" ako. Duke is just a normal student and I don't know... Humarap ako nang maayos sa kaniya at inayos ang sarili ko.
"You can't just tell me whom I should go with and not, Elle. We're not even friends too." Wika ko at akmang aalis na ako ng bigla niya akong tawagin.
"Scarlet." Ngayon niya lang ako tinawag sa first name ko, mukhang may sapi ata ang isang ito ngayon.
"That I can't change, but well, you've forgot that you're my date for tonight." Lumapit siya sa akin at hinawakan ang kamay ko.
I just looked at him like what the heck?
"Like what? To make your ex jealous?" I concluded, it must be that though.
"And you think she'll get jealous to an ugly bitch like you? wala akong pinagseselos dito." He said, nararamdaman ko padin ang lambot ng kamay niya. And even saw a hint of smile.
I sighed, okay. Papalampasin ko nalang muna ang pangaalaska niya, dahil ngumiti siya at ssamantalahin ko na.
"You should smile often, nagmumukha kang tao." Wika ko at agad din namang naglaho ang ngiti niya.
"Nahiya pa oh." ani ko at natawa, pero hindi niya na yun pinansin.
"Shut up."
We entered the hall, at nagkakagulo! The bands is playing With Love by Christinna Grimmie
I started humming the melody of the song. "This one's my favorite song." Biglaang wika ni Elle.
Napatingin naman ako sa kaniya,pero parang cool lang siya. Tumango tango nalang ako at medyo kinakabahan dahil may nagaaway talaga.
Everyone here is fighting, don't know why. But heck! It seems that no one dares to stop. Napaangat ako ng tingin kay Elle ng magsalita siya.
